Youtube Changed the game ???

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage
our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.

Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the
interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We
realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in
advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Obviously with the algo update, they're keeping track how long viewers are staying on the video as a ranking factor, but it could just as well be used as a factor to tell which videos have botted views. For instance a video with 50k views that just bounce off the video may be a little more suspicious then a video with 50k high retention views.

Only time will tell though.

For all the people that are thinking of the possibility of negative video SEO ... try buying a million views for a respectable YouTube account and see what it does. Nothing but actually add those views to the video :P

This guy seems to be experiencing the same crap: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/513745-my-youtube-video-got-banned-because-too-many-traffic.html :P

Man i think youtube is totally crazy deleting some random videos, i heard some that never bought any views and were deleted

Check this out guys- https://productforums.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/youtube/RTeFVXWsMTs (All these people claim to have never used bot views yet they all got their video's removed. Lol YouTube really did not think this through.. lmao

Lol it seems like they fucked up big time! Lots of people compleining they never used any bot only adwords etc and got videos deleted

I can't see how properly administered views at a slower rate (10k or less daily) can be dangerous. It becomes risky for youtube when you can shit on your competition by buying services to their videos. Maybe they dont even care

Guys, so far I did nt receive any mail or pms from my buyers regarding this issue. Could be issue with normal views videos and not with retention views. But considering this updates, will see how this can be fixed. Anytime google and their partners always comes with new updates in all forms, but we try to fix this asap.

Apart from this, there are people who spread the methods all over forums and chances are there ,they would have reported to youtube too.

Guys, lets go by steps so we can track whats causing all of this, if everyone spends a litle 2 minutes answering these questions, then we can all discover what is really happening, there is no really a way of youtube to stop us if we "emulate" how a normal video would get views, i mean, just think: if a video gets views like any other video, youtube cant really do anything or else the whole youtube would have their videos removed:

-Whats the source of your views? *(what does it shows in the referrer)
-Where did you get those views? *(Fiverr? seller? traffic exchange website?)
-How many views your video had in total when it got banned?? *(Example: my video had around 200.000 boted views when it got banned)
-How many views your video had per day when it got banned?? *(Example: my video had around 5.000 boted views per day when it got banned)

Not only videos. I can no longer register non - p v a youtube accounts. I use to register hundred accounts per day. And since yesterday. The method i was using does not work anymore so yeah theres something going on out there.

I am reading on the google docs all these people who say they didnt use bots or pay people like us to promote there video so then why is YouTube deleting there videos. Granted some may not being honest but this seems much more widespread then what we thought orignally. And now they arent letting you make accounts anymore all signs point to something much much bigger is about to happen with YouTube. We shall have to watch the news and see tomorrow.

Retention Views have not been affected as far as I know from my clients.

From the smallest to the biggest YoutubePlayers are being affected by this and YT can't afford to let this happen.

This will be soon be on the news - the amount of reports and appeals will be beyond comprehension.
Everyone is being affected - Hollywood Agencies, Musicians, Directors.... you name it.

Let's wait and see what their official statement is and we go from there.

Two of my videos were deleted as well. The views were 10-15k mobile with facebook and twitter referrer made in one day.

Sure they took down videos, but they will be back. I'm sure majority of the videos were deleted for botted views, but I'm sure there were plenty deleted that were legit and did nothing, or someone botted it for them without them knowing. If you get a lot of views in a little period of time, think about every video that hits reditt first page. Those all will be taken down too, because they randomly get flooded with traffic from an outbound site then it dies down to almost nothing in a lot of cases which may be the trend they are banning on.

I think this is absolutely retarded and going to cause tons of problems for them. My predication is that by tomorrow morning all videos are put back up and that at the very most the views would be deleted, but I think that's a stretch too. Then I think they will add a new algorithm that won't count certain views, just like they used to do. I think they are going to learn their lesson big time with the mistake they just made and headache they caused themselves.

I wonder how much money they will lose from videos that were taken down, that had ads on them that were actually legit.

They still need to an official announcement, they can't just pick a random video delete it.

Feeling sad for those who lost there affiliates marketing videos :(
