Hi Guys,

I am debating whether I should create a bot for youtube and am wondering what features should be added to it and also what youtube bases its statistics on.

Any ideas are more than appreciated.

Side note, I will be coding the bot in Java/Groovy
 
Advertise on BHW
Auto Commenting from multiple accounts
Auto rating from multiple accounts
Auto Fav from multiple accounts

Auto subscribe to accounts via key words
Auto friend accounts via key words

I have also added the following:


  • Account video ripper (download all vids from a certain user)
  • Account comment ripper (rip comments from certain vid to add to ones own vid to make it look legit)
  • Video tag ripper (rip tags to help boost in the searches)
  • Account creator
  • Proxy Support
  • Proxy Checker
Are there any other features that anyone thinks I should add?

Also, Java has a tough time with logging in with accounts and what not, I might have to switch languages and perhaps mess with cookies options
 
to add on to the commenter suggester suggestions: id like to see a bot that 'thumbs up' the comments from all your accounts. to get your comment to the top of the list.
 
YouTube checks for proxies. You have to figure out another way. Maybe stealing REAL peoples ip addresses and adding them to a list? I am not sure if that would even work though...

This is what I've been dreaming of in a youtube bot...

-scrape videos by keyword to download

-I'm not sure if this is possible, or too hard, but it'd be awesome if you could set it to only download videos of a certain length. So you can skip the big downloads and download tons of short videos quickly if you wanted to.

-A built in bulk uploader

I thought this is why youtube bots no longer worked?
Because of YouTube's new view algorithms that check for stuff like proxies, times in between each video, how long they were veiwed, etc.
 
Youtube is the best forum on the internet. This is so much informatics and helpful that we can easily access on the desire movies and practical of any task movies

Youtube only checks for the traditional proxy headers. A high anonymity proxy will work.

Use the same precautions you would with FB or CL marketing and you should do fine.

Thanks! And I thought I was completely hopeless using the old proxy techniques.
 
Make a video view increaser like tubebot (their website is down, may be discontuinued) used. It was basically a surf exchange but it worked great. Users sign in and the program "watches" videos in the background so it is sending real viewers to the videos (no proxies). The program could run silent in the background and the greater the user base the more potential views. I can't believe there's not a ton of these type of programs out there yet because it worked.
 
If you are talking about VIDEO VIEWS, NO PROXIES in the world are going to work. DONE DEAL. FACT. GIVE UP. You need serious REAL traffic WITH COOKIES, JAVA ENABLED BROWSERS, ETC. OR YOUR GONNA GET SHUT DOWN. FACT. DONE DEAL. SERIOUSLY GIVE UP.

You are not faking the youtube video views tally algorithm with proxies. Now, add a major server and add some tricks for skimming traffic along with a couple secret ingredients and your in business.

HOWEVER, if you want to add likes (thumbs up), subscribers, friend requests, AND CHANNELV VIEWS you are still 100% bot SAFE. go to town.

Youtube DOES NOT highly monitor this activity because it is not nearly the drain on bandwidth that video traffic is
