what if a bot was made in such a mode that there is a "mother" software that the user controls which jenerates mini bots or "seeds" which has to be download through some weird black hat scheme by the victims once the "seeds" are planted you insert the video url in the mother software and the amount of views and the mother software makes the "seeds" bots watch the video in stealth mode that is to say that it watches the video without the user knowing that such video is being played on his computer....do you like this idea?I am no programmer but I'd like to see this idea come alive

You've just pretty much described a botnet.
Very illegal, and frowned upon here.

Or.... You can just turn those "seeds" into socks5 proxies. After that set up numerous browsers in a dedicated or vps and just run the browsers simultaneously using their IP's.

Nonetheless, you will need a lot of cores and ram to run a lot of browsers. You can launch multiple firefox with different profiles, aka different proxy and cookie profile for each firefox running. However, when you run chrome or IE browser the proxy is tied down to the machine. So it is hard to run more than 2 chrome or IE as far as I know on the same machine using different proxy(unless you put them each in a virtual box or vmimage). Maybe there is a way, I haven't looked hard but as far as I know it seems hard.

Now given that if you run youtube videos on your browser you will use a lot of cpu and ram than if you were just using the browser to surf normally.

Ofcourse, if you are going as far as to run a "mother" software you might as well run the "seeds" with software that won't be like imacros, ubot, zennoposter. You want something that you can deploy easily across multiple machines.

Go with selenium, its free and 100 times better than all that shitty programs you see like imacros, ubot, zennoposter.

My next bot in 6-9 months will be more of a private cloud hybrid bot. I will extensevely use browser + sockets. I didn't make this decision until I found selenium and how effective it was, it makes browser automation like a breeze.

Here is a benchmark on amazon cloud EC2, so you can see how many instances of each (ff and chrome) you can run on 3 different instances.

Like mentioned, that is a botnet. Which is illegal, not blackhat.

    Cheers,

I am just as clueless on views, since I have never done views before. What I was trying to say is that it is easier to set up the environment on your end, and just use the "seeds" as proxies so you basically just running a "browser farm" on your dedicated machines , so with the right setup you could be able to control a lot of browsers easily. It is hard to do that with ubot, zennoposter, or imacro where you have to sort of "baby sit" them.

All I was saying was , that unless you know how to do the correct http calls to generate the views, which will need you to look "under the hood" in order to see what triggers a views, then it is a lot easier to just bot the views through the browser using the "seeds" as proxies.Ofc that is why I showed you a simple way to set up hundreds of browsers all running simultaneously.

If you want to find out how many it takes, I would suggest you take your pc, and you run 2+ firefox browsers. Divide that by 2, and figure out how much ram and cpu each one takes approximately.

    In this pic

You can see the how many browsers he is running on each different EC2 instance

Exactly, this is nothing but how a botnet works. And for youtube views there are other simpler/straightforward ways to increase the view count rather than watching the videos from the browser. If you find that out, you can use this botnet implementation to get the views super fast and it doesn't any bandwidth at all.
