Youtube bot commenting using official api?

Hello,

I'm looking to build a youtube commenting bot and maybe even share it here, I want it to scale easily so I figured using the official api is the way to go but i'm not sure if YouTube can detect it/delete comments easily.

So I'd like to ask those of you who might have had experience with this before, does YouTube treat content that is published by api same as the one that is published manually? and if using their api will result in banned comments then any ideas how to make this work?

I've never heard of anyone using the official api before, might just be because people didn't know you could comment on videos through it. I didn't.

As i now there is no api, but you can do using selenium

Using the Youtube API, you could have problem with quota of API requests.
Maybe you should try to create a bot using ZennoPoster or something like that...

How do you get authenticated to api? You need to switch user and location after each comment?

Are we speaking about browser or mobile?

Anyway, of course you can use their private APIs if you fully reverse the app and can generate all tokens as real users does.
