Youtube blocking views from proxies? Is that technically possible?

I keep reading that you can't increase YT videos views using proxies, but I was wondering, is that really technically possible?

I'm not a programmer nor a coding guru, but I know for a fact that if a proxy is used correctly (i.e. imitating a real life user behaviour) there should be no way for a site to understand that it is a proxy. The exception being if you use public proxies abused by millions of people.

So, why using private proxies (or at least public not abused proxies) with a well coded bot (that imitates real life users, with random time on videos and so on) shouldn't work?

My impression is that many say that this isn't working anymore because they used the same proxy on hundreds of their video keep refreshing the pages after one second, raising huge red flag on their accounts.

Another thing to point out is that I uploaded about 100 videos on my ten new accounts yersterday using 10 private proxies, and today the video are still there and they started receiving views. So, if YT can really detect proxies, why they let me in my accounts and upload videos?

If any expert on this matter could share some insights, it would be really appreciated...Thanks.

90% of people use public proxies, because the proxies are public that means that Google also has access to the same proxies (no duh!) therefore all these proxies are blacklisted on sites such as Youtube etc. so if someone views the video using that IP Youtube knows not to make the view count.
That is one of the ways in which Youtube sees through proxies (but I just read your entire post and can see that you already knew that =.=)
Private proxies should not be detected by Youtube, however proxy servers aren't always 100% anonymous, sometimes you can get proxies that are transparent, but usually private is good. Have you had any issues with private proxies and youtube?

That is not correct to 100%.
- Youtube at time only counted ~ 10 - 30% of NOT "user logged in" views.
- Youtube at time only counted ~ 50 - 60% of "user logged in" views.
- Youtube at time only counted ~ 10 - 20 views on videos from 1 ip.
Without refferer you will get lower views! Check it out. To increase the views the process must like a real user. This need extreme machinepower.

I have at last week my new "own" viewincreaser at work. My old was falling down by the last change. Now i get the ratio (see top) and generate for my own 50k "real" views per day... counted views only 30k on youtube and full on ads. Before the last change i had the two times on views by an other technique and the same infrastructure. My problem at time is only the small infrastructure. Only one machine is working 20h/day.

If u are a big youtube partner like "freddiew" u will get a better ratio.
Think this... youtube do nothing work for you - you only work for youtube! youtube is the big winner at this game and get the most money.

btw i think proxy private,ecc don't make soo much views because there are some tools on the browser youtube detected this views are fake, but if you use private proxy or more good proxy and specially using some accorgiments and do something to be real, the proxy be counted as views on the counter of youtube, this is a good explaination about what you say bro!

There are proxies that are cheap and leak real data Youtube can easily gather that and not increase the views.
You need to go for either residential ips or complete anonymous proxies.
