Hey guys,

I just wanted to share with you a new journey I recently started. I’m experimenting with YouTube automation and affiliate marketing, and I thought it might be useful to document the process here.

The Concept

  • I’m running faceless YouTube channels with compilation-style videos.
  • My niche: TikTok compilations (fast content, low effort, decent viral potential).
  • Monetization: Not AdSense (obvious reasons). Instead:
    • I registered a short, simple domain: oneword.pm
    • I burn this domain directly into the videos as a call-to-action → redirects to my affiliate page.

Setup & Automation

Initially, I was doing everything manually. After proving the concept, I decided to automate:
  1. Video Collection
    • Using a Stream Deck, I can grab videos with one click when I'm on tiktok on desktop.
    • The buttons sends the current page → webhook → N8N workflow. 8 buttons, 8 different categories.
    • N8N Workflow: API then downloads the video, store it, put everthing with a tag in a table
  2. Compilation
    • N8N checks if I’ve collected enough clips.
    • If yes → it triggers FFmpeg on my server.
    • FFmpeg stitches clips together + randomly burns my domain text inside the video.
  3. Publishing
    • Final compilation is uploaded automatically to YouTube.
    • I schedule 1 video/day.
    • Goal: build momentum, grow subscribers, and generate steady clicks.

Current Stats

  • Videos posted: ~25 (+ 10 scheduled)
  • Early performance: 20k+ views/video
  • Subscribers : 1800+
  • Current performance: ~5k views/video (likely due to automation / API limitations)
  • Affiliate setup: 3 providers
  • Conversions so far: 3
  • Earnings so far: ~$10

Goals

✅ Build a fully automated YT → Affiliate pipeline
✅ Consistently schedule videos (sit & forget)
➡️ Scale content to 2 weeks of scheduled videos every 15 days
➡️ Increase CTR & conversions on affiliate offers
➡️ Push monthly revenue beyond $100 → $500 → $1k+

Closing

That’s the journey so far!

Feel free to ask me any questions — I’ll try to post regular updates with results and improvements.

Looking like a good plan and a few conversions already, looking forward to seeing your success will be following along.

Good luck with the journey. You have solid skills, you can make lots of things with it after you finish this journey!

Hello,

I’m a software developer with 3 years of experience in full-stack development and automation. I’ve been building my career on Upwork, but unfortunately my previous accounts were suspended due to strict policies.

Even though this has been discouraging at times, I haven’t lost my motivation. I know that freelancing is the best path for me to continue improving my skills, gaining experience, and supporting clients. That’s why I’m looking for a partnership with someone who is open to lending or creating an account for me to work through.

Here’s my promise:
- I will treat your account with full responsibility and professionalism.
- You will earn 15%(or more depending on region) of the income I generate.
- I will keep all work transparent so you always know what’s happening with your account.

My goal is not to use an account forever. Within 2–3 years, I expect to move into company-based development roles as my skills mature, at which point I’d gladly return the account to you.

If you’ve been in this industry, you probably understand how challenging it can be to get started. I’m looking for someone who can understand my situation and is willing to grow together in a way that benefits us both.

Thank you for considering this opportunity, and I’d be happy to discuss more details if you’re interested.

Thanks
Well you thought getting ban on upwork wasnt enough you also want to get banned here?

Really enjoyed reading your post, it was clear and motivating. Wishing you lots of success with your journey, and I’m looking forward to seeing your future updates!

Wow, this is a pretty sweet setup and workflow you got, and thats awesome that you've already made some money too!

Curious, since this is mostly and automated process, how do you generate the video titles, thumbnails, and descriptions? Or is that part all done manually?

Affiliate conversions are always slow at first, I remember my first $10 took 3 weeks of uploads to happen

Sounds exciting! YouTube automation and affiliate marketing can be a powerful combo if done right. Definitely share your journey - wins, fails, and all. Lots of people here will find it helpful (and can offer tips too).
