Youtube auto-generated thumbnail trick?

Is there a way to precisely upload a video that will auto-generate middle thumbnail to be the one I choose?

This seems to be pretty hard. Done some tests, covered a lot of center (more than 20sec) and middle thumb keeps running away from me.

My video 4 min, I cover 20sec in the middle and thumb is from 1:40 and then 10sec of video left before my custom thumbnail.

Youtube simply decides to use another frame of my original video. I've attempted to add my custom thumbnail as a video file also, but nothing.

Placed image on 2 spot, also failed, and few other things. Maybe I have to change rendering software. Used Camtasia as I usually don't edit a lot.

I need to have auto-generated thumbnail in the middle so I don't need to mess further with it. Even in the end could work well.

I saw someone who has 5 sec thumbnail in the very end of his videos and he is able to use that as a thumbnail.

When I tested, my thumbs are not even from video start or end, but in between...(pic 1 on 7sec of video, pic 3 on 7sec before end)

I've also covered a lot of back of my video, that last seconds, and what not to barely become able to have it.

Following simple logic, and placing image to cover last 7 or 10 sec won't work for me, at least with Camtasia software.

Thumbnail keeps running away.. in most cases. It's really hard to make it work lol.

It has to be something with choosing a rendering software or some other trick. I just hope that someone could share it with me.

SMS verification is not an option for this, so please do not suggest it.

Because I am uploading a lot of videos from many channels, spam.

I use like 20+ accounts per day, and my method to verify channels is dead.

Buying this as a service is not an option due high prices and possibly not working, idk as I don't use any.

Now, it must be real SMS it seems. I wish I'm wrong. If this comes to Gmail as well, I'm leaving this thing.

I was not talking about buying thumbnails, but rather uploading a screenshot of the exact second you want. This is probably done a lot easier and faster than figuring out which screenshots are taken by the YouTube algo.

ive uploaded 450 vids in the last 3 months
all have unique thumb nails
and i made them all.
cant beat the personal touch

Alright, people do not understand me, and that was expected.

To upload custom thumbnail to Youtube requires SMS verification.

I create 20 channels per day, fresh channels, and then I verify every channel with free verification method that delivers SMS from Youtube.

Method is patched, and I can't verify channels anymore. I can only attempt to use a service that offers this, but ALL of them are super expensive. They ask like $0.60 per channel, just calculate 0.60 x 20 per day, that won't be done for my money.

So this is about creating fresh accounts everyday, not a single account, and spam all over Youtube.

These channels lasts 2-3-4-5 days, and then gone forever. I have a custom method for quality Gmail creation.

If anyone want to share with me, how to control Auto-Generated middle (2) thumbnail, please do.

I am happy to exchange knowledge and offer something that might interest you in return.

For now, I've over extended my videos, if video is long 1min I go with +2 min of image to get middle thumb = 3min video, terrible.

AI advices gonna work in the end if nothing else

1. Use high-quality, visually engaging footage in your video.
2. Make sure the key visual elements of your video are prominent in the middle section of the video.
3. Avoid using a lot of text or logos in your video, as these can make it more difficult for the algorithm to choose a thumbnail.
4. Consider including a brief section of your video specifically designed to work well as a thumbnail.
