Hey everyone.
I started my YT work about two months ago, monetizing with the basic Adsense option. I'm keeping it fairly clean as I run a bunch of niche sites connected to my Adsense so I am not taking chances to jeopardize the account. I've not done the proxy/account dance etc, and not really wanting to get into that. I put up a few channels trying out various niches, and things are not moving very quickly. As I have only done Adsense, I do not have experience with other monetization options.
In any case, one of my channels might have potential. I create the videos myself, so there are no worries about it. I have created an associated website, and direct traffic there . Right now, I am getting about 50 unique visitors a day looking to download files that the video has showcased (that are real and safe). These files can be found else where for free but may not be that easy to find in some cases. I offer the downloads for free at the moment as I was in testing mode. I can increase the traffic with more files/videos.
So here's the question, if I put a CPA/ content block on these files, am I risking my YT account? I would remove the monetization option off the videos as well.
Thanks
