YOUTUBE ALGORITHM

Does anyone here know anything about YouTube? I have two new anime channels, each with 5 videos, but neither of them are getting any views. The titles and subtitles are fine, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I already had another new channel that took off really quickly, so I don't understand what's going on now. Can anyone help me understand this algorithm? Is there a technique to avoid this?
seems to be the luck of the draw how yt treats your channel

hi there! have you considered maybe paying a freelancer to help you? I think there are many factors that can influence your videos' visibility. Perhaps the best thing is to hire someone on platforms like sproutgigs, upwork or fiverr to help you and give you the necessary tips to avoid shadowban, you might have to start from 0 and create a new yt channel

Do a little bit of experiment, try changing thumbnails, change upload frequency etc, and if you already have 15+ videos in the channel, then wait for 3-4 months and just upload 1 video a week and If you still see low views then re-upload these videos in a new channel. Sometimes certain channels are just unlucky and never get out of the view threshold.

YouTube can be hit or miss early on—new channels often get sandboxed. Try tweaking thumbnails, improve watch time, and test trending topics. Also check retention and click-through rate; those matter more than subs early.

YouTube doesn’t just reward volume or views ,what it’s really pushing is viewer satisfaction.

If your content gets clicked and holds attention (especially in the first 10 seconds), that’s where you start building real momentum.

It doesn’t matter if your video is faceless or low-budget ,what matters is session impact.

Are people watching more after your video? Are they staying on-platform?

Faceless channels still work, but you’ve got to hook viewers hard and early, and keep tweaking based on retention.

The algo’s brutal now, but when it clicks, it really pushes.

You could try doing shorts.
They have better discoverability then long form content
