YouTube affiliate program Can I really get some money through that?

I have a kpop base content on YouTube but its really hard to get monetize (I'm a student and I'm hoping to get some $ to it as extra money.. please don't judge me) so I wonder If I can get money to affiliate program... And if someone can help or explain it to me.
