Hey black hatters, I need some help. I have used Adwords for many campaigns using the search network and would say I have become pretty decent at setting up campaigns etc etc.. IE, I wouldn't burn my money like a noob. HOWEVER, yesterday I set up a youtube video campaign with a daily budget set to £0.71 per day, just to get a small flow of traffic into my youtube channel to get it started. The ad got approved about 3 - 4 hours ago and here are my campaign stats. Bare in mind this campaign should run for 14 days spending 71p per day: I spoke to the live chat person and he/she said that this is due to over delivery (which is normal.. :/) and I will only be charged a maximum of 120% of my daily budget. Basically my question is has anyone experienced this with video ads? Is there any point setting up a drip feed campaign if Adwords will just blast my video with over 2k views in 2 hours? Should I be complaining or happy that I have had over delivery as its technically cheap views? All answers are appreciated.
