Hello everyone!
Since I'm thinking in getting into YouTube, one small part of the "side-hustle" is not yet clear to me. I've seen a lot of posts regarding spamming and doing blackhat things on YouTube such as getting viral videos fast, getting paid and getting banned or things like this, but in my head, these were not making sense, why? Because:
I thought that you are getting paid by YouTube, NOT AdSense.
So let me understand these things clearly and maybe for others reading this thread thinking in getting into YouTube:
1) You create a YouTube channel and you monetize it with AdSense, am I right?
2) Even if your YouTube account/s are getting banned, your AdSense account will not be shutdown, am I right?
3) Your AdSense account can make money from more YouTube Channels, am I right? Like, if you have 5 youtube channels, you can link that AdSense account to them and earn money in the same place, right?
4) YouTube & AdSense are basically different things that are not being affected in a "bad" way between one an another, so even if you are keep getting banned from YouTube, your AdSense account will stay untouched
5) AdSense is basically a hub where you earn your money and withdraw them, you cannot just lose/get banned from AdSense - if you don't break their TOS, am I right? (I'm not sure what that TOS is, but I'm thinking like fraud or big stuff like this, not like spamming)
6) Do you have an AdSense unique code that you plug into your YouTube account, or how does it work?
Any help or insights will mean a lot, because I just figured this out after years and years of thinking that it works in a complete different way, like if you were getting banned on YouTube, bye bye all your money and account and your life will be ruined and stuff, but the "bank" itself, its not the YouTube, but the AdSense, which completely blows my mind away lol
