My channel will be about soccer, I'll basically be making highlight clips each and everyday ! A channel similar to mines will be "rom7ooo". I decided to share my journey because I think that it will motivate me more ! As of right now I have 300 subs, 120,000 lifetime views from 7 videos, only 4 of them are monetized, 2 of the not monetized videos have the highest views :/ the reason why I didn't monetize them was because I couldn't due to the use of copyrighted footages that was less than 5 seconds ! I did not know much about youtube back then so instead of just replacing the footage I just went on and published it anyways (very dumb, will never do again). Right now with the 4 monetized videos my daily adsense average are: 500 views, CTR 3, RPM about 3,getting on average 1.30 $ a day, not bad for someone that hasn't uploaded any videos for the last 6 months. Now I know what it takes and will hopefully achieve my goals !

(English is not my first language so I apologize in advance if I make any mistakes lol)

Any tips are welcome !

Youtube itself, i search for HD footages and rip them and add some music and do some sick editing with vegas pro

hi love to read your journey :D

btw you get 300 natural subscriber ?

thank you ! yes all natural

Becareful because i tried youtube+soccer videos a year back.. 3 videos were Claimed by FA Premier League on 23 Sep 2013 and still that copyright has not expired and also just because of that one copyright all my channels linked to that adsense account were taken down.

I would say that you add a logo to your video something like a brand logo.

Definitely agree with gondar, many of the soccer leagues claim copyright over goals and footage from games. The logo may help in the videos not getting flagged. Best of luck man!

I would like to know more about your journey! Did you start to get visitor to you website?

well, it's youtube not a website lol. I get on average 2000 views each day

thanks i will, I get my footage from other youtubers, i don't stream or anything. If other channels have the same footage and the video is still up I know it's not copyrighted (yet).

Just hit a major road block.. after publishing a new video I wasn't able to monetize it straight away, when I pressed monetize it gave me 3 options. option 1: I own all the rights. option 2: i have the licence and another option that i forgot, i chose for the option that said i own all the rights (which i don't).. smh youtube must of changed this never happened before, after choosing that option the monetize icon turned green with a question mark inside when i hover over it it says "under review" :headache:

I've tested with soccer videos. Your idea is good but soccer videos get flagged like there is no tomorrow. In the end, enough flags and you will lose the adsense for good but its to each his own. From my experience, Soccer is a risky category.

good luck.

Its nearly impossible to get past the new youtube copyright filters these days
and still have good footage

It is good if you can share in detail how you build the youtube videos and how to promote or optimize them...

Yes that video will be under review forever!!!! I have been in that kind of situation..
the bad news is now your under the google "radar" what will happen now is all your videos will get that "!" mark and you cant do much about it.

next time you upload a video remember these steps that i use that "sometimes" ( not always) bypasses their ! mark
1- change the title of the video.
2- keep it in unlisted
3-monetization tab ( beside info and settings) uncheck (✔) all the ticks
4- change the thumbnail and also category( i would suggest education or science and technology)
5-save the video

if you see the green dollar then congrats you have bypassed the youtube algorithm you can go back to the monetization tab and ✔ check all the boxes for ads.

If ! mark appears then that is because youtube is either suspecting your channel or it has found that video else where already uploaded on the net.
the worst consequence is your channel under their radar .
MY opinion would be create a new channel and try to upload new videos that you have made by yourself for atleast 3 months
then maybe .. maybe you can scrap videos edit them and re-upload them.

All the best .. good luck!

well, i could care less about losing my adsense acount to be honest lol, i have a stable income. This is more about me just experimenting for the people. i'll maybe change my mind if i start making big money with it lol

hmmmph, well actually i'm not surprised I used to upload videos not knowing if some footage were copyrighted and then delete them if they were. I should had tested it on another channel I don't use before uploading it on my main channel. Now that I ran into this problem my only option is i guess making a new youtube account

1. search for a soccer player in the come up for example: James
2. search and rip for hd footage with him in it
3. make a compilation with vegas Pro, (learn on youtube)
4. Render in HD
5. Upload to youtube with a nice title and lots of related tags in the description

What i do is lead by example go to a big soccer account and take that for example, the way they put there title and stuff
