YouTube Adsense is dead

I have had a YouTube channel since late 2016.

It made me some money and was growing and motivated me to create more value to help people out with problems so I get more views and money.

Fast forward to 2018. There was some controversy around advertisers pulling off YouTube as you probably heard earlier in the year.(pretty sure it has to do with this)

No ads show on any of my videos. Some have 200,000+ views and counting which should be making money but they arent.

I dont know if there are just less ads now or if they only run ads on big name channels but...

I just wanted to put this out there for anyone who was thinking about making money with YouTube strictly off adsense.

Unless you are a big name or big brand YouTuber you probably wont see ads on your videos or make any money.

I'll update this if it changes, but as of now this method is f*cked.

YouTube Marketing team itself facing problems strictness in monetizing your account with Adsense, is because they have less number of advertisers in comparison to publisher. Advertisers are also paying very little amount to them and so the payout is less. I got an email when I asked youtube support about this and it was the reason mentioned.

I have a youtube channel. I upload anime video like naruto and seven deadly sins. Is there a way to monetize them.

Yeah. I got approved about a week ago and was just checking my revenue stats(shows nothing still) and I watched my videos multiple times to check snd not one ad showed.

Every video is enabled for monetization.

Well you are correct! I suspect this is due to the adblock plugins. Why not try including paid promotions in your video instead?

All my channel still delivering big buck until today. Even some channels that have 20K subscribers still get hundreds thousands view daily and earn well.
If ads doesn't show much on your videos probably advertiser is not interested on your niche.

Quick update regarding this issue:

I contacted YouTube support asking why ads weren't showing even though I'm eligible for monetization.

I randomly went to go look at my videos and an ad played before my video played.

If you have this problem try to contact them via email.

I'm not sure if ads will always play from now on but I'm happy it might be fixed
