YouTube Ads / Making money

Hey BHW! I have a question about making money on YouTube. I’m currently in the process of getting set up for Adsense so I can get paid for views. (I'm eligible for monitization)

I also pay for YouTube ADS using Google AdWords.

Will the views that I make from my Google AdWords campaign count as profit for me?

I’m asking because making YouTube videos/marketing is really expensive and I’m looking to see a return on investment. (Lmk if my question makes any sense)

No they won’t, you won’t get any revenue on videos that you use as ads

the whole consept is you build content like building a bike and youtube pay you for the traffic they show ads to.

you can also promote that channel with other social networks .

example .

do a session in fishing,you record it , then edit it if need to,then upload it to yt and then yt will monitize it , then you promote it on facebook , reddit,quora,twitter with or without a bot .

Instead of adwords, try running ads over FB or other platforms.
In that way you might make a return. With Adwords you wont since those views are sent by youtube itself and why would they pay you for that, even in any case they do you wont be able to make a profit.

If you pay to make your video an ad, how can the ad video have ads on it to get money? It’s just illogical

That is literally the smartest idea ever and I'm going to take this and run with it. Brilliant idea. As far as running good Facebook ads, I was going to go on Fiverr and find a Facebook ad professional who can set up a targeted Facebook ad campaign that will actually work, because I've had terrible luck running Facebook ads in the past. Do you think that's a smart idea? (going to fiverr)

This is why I love BHW. Due to the advice here i was able to get blue check mark verified on Instagram last week and I'm constantly learning more and more everyday.

The ADS cost more than what you gonna earn from youtube
not even if you pay $0.03 cents per view
they always win in the end

I have a YouTube channel which has grown from Zero to 100k Subscribers in a year.
It's a seasonal niche and India targeted, I don't get much money out of it due to the niche & country.

Choosing proper keywords and using the tags wisely is what I feel helped me get to the 100k subs.
I haven't invested much money into the channel, around 40,000 INR (600 USD) and I got a break even in the first 6 months.

Your investment should go into generating engaging videos and YouTube SEO.
Once you're on the right track, You'll be successful.

Of course ADS views counts as usual views. Another problem - you will spent more then you will earn.

Why not become a Youtuber? You could apply for an adsense account if you don't have one yet ,upload videos on any niche with low competition or even high competitive keywords,choose any video in your niche from a creative commons ,read the rules and policy first because some has restricted license or some could be edited /but some could only be re-posted as is; have 1000 subscribers, get 4000 hours of view time or so to qualify for Adsense since Youtube is now owned by Google. You will earn Youtube Ad display on your channel or video. Estimated 1 Million views, you could earn from $ 2500 to $3000 or higher when your keyword is really targeted. You could go to socialblade.com to search for the analytics of any youtubers based on their channel names, there you could find their estimated earnings per month, they are killing it especially if your video uploads get viral..Google trend can help you with that also. That's what I have read somewhere . Just search creative commons on Youtube to learn more.. 4000 hours or 4000 minutes of views in order to qualify for adsense , I forgot, just do a research...

Well right now, I'm just paying for ads on my video and im not getting paid at all because i dont have an Adsence account set up (ill be taking care of that this week).My goal is to use the earnings that I make from the videos and invest it into more ads
