    Dear Everybody:)

I got a very important question.

When I make a post on Wordpress with at the end a Youtube video. Will there be an ad overlay on the video? Because I havent seen one ad popping up on the video since i've been using youtube videos in my wordpress posts.

Could somebody help me out or give me a better way to monetize video in Wordpress?

    thanks for the help!

You could upload videos to a pay per view website. For example that pays per 1k views, instead of ad revenue.

Use videedotTV video monetization plugin for your wordpress site. It is a powerful plugin and give the real time reports. I think it fulfill your requirements.

I haven't tested this in ages, but I used to upload the video, include it in the blog or whatever, then disable embedding for that video.
This way, a youtube video will appear but cliking it will actually take you to youtube or ask you to open it in an app (mobile).

Remembe ads only shown on monetized platforms, and I think it's only the mobile app and the youtube site itself.
