Youtube adding subscribers?

Hi folks,

Whenever I start a new channel from scratch, even with very low views i get subscribers (initially). And I am not able to see who subscribed. Maybe they have set their account to private but.
Does youtube add bot/subs to your channel initially to help you boost up?

New channels show up in Google & Youtube search. After 2-3 weeks, your channels looses boost and your subscribers decrease over time. This is to encourage more newbies to start their yt channels.

this is unlilekly to be the case.
ive never experienced this.
maybe someone found your channel and subscribed
