YouTube 1st week ranking bonus?

Hi.

Does youtube kick new videos higher in rankings in the 1st week when video added?

It seems that new videos have some new bonus in rankings then if it doesnt get many HR views(total watchtime) then it drops?


So it seems to me that if you need your video in top then you should get as many HR views in a week.

So i tried competitive keyword when i added video it was on 21th page of serp for that keyword, then i get 1000 90%+ retension views and it goes to page 4.
So 1000 of views its too less to be in page1, but it seems to me that if i get 3000-4000 90%+ views in a first week then i will be in top10 serp results.

So should i delete that video, upload it again and try to gain 3000-4000 views in first 7 days? Cuz it seems that after 7 days its harder to boost my rankings from page4 to page1.

if you will boost your video after that first week for more views/likes etc than your competitors you will be on the top again. Perhaps it is easier to reupload your video tho. And your rankings can drop any time if you don't outplay your competitors really hard.
