YourPrivateProxy does stop service

    We bought a private proxy to yourprivateproxy dot com, one week ago and it stopped to work two days ago. Alex, the support guy told us;
    "it's something on my end, the hole class is not working. More exactly is something on my provider end I will fix this as soon as possible but since is not on my end it could take a while."

    Fortunally we spent just 10 bucks in just one proxy. So I don´t recomend you to buy any proxy to this people untill they fix the problem. I will notice you if something change

    I have no problems with my proxies from him, and i have a lot more then your 1 proxy. Sometimes 1-1 proxy doesnt work, that happens. Do you think the best you can do is come here and open a thread withhttp://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/183876-yourprivateproxy-does-stop-service.html#post1647091 that problem? If you write him an email, they responds in half hour, any time of the day.

    I had a problem with his service too but I think it's pretty much normal cause I wasn't familiar with his new system He was really helpful and helped me sort my problem out. I am a his happy customer so far.

    I think it's really just you? I have no problems with the service at all?

    Perhaps you are making too much troubles for the $10?

    lol :) He sent me and email 2 hours ago maybe, first I thought it was a user thing and ofcourse I asked him to see if everything is ok on he's end. He checked everything and it was ok on his end then I investigated on my end and the problem was on my end ( well not exactly on my end but on my provider end, the proxies where not routed to me anymore, a hole class ) so I talked with my provider who fixed the problem in maximum 30 minutes. Everything is working now and ofcourse several emails where sent to him updating on the status. From here to opening a thread about it ..... what can I see.

    And if it stopped working to days ago why not notify me right away ? I highly doubt that it stopped working 2 days ago because I would received others emails about non working proxies. I think it stopped working today when I added a new few classes at least that's what my provider told me.

    This is what I've got from my provider:

    Sometimes the switch can be a little flaky on servers with such a large number of IP addresses -- After I added your new block this morning the server would have needed to re-ARP, and the server's natural behavior is to send out as many ARPs as it can as quickly as it can in an attempt to identify its IPs on the network but this flood of ARPs sometimes results in the ARPs being disregarded or misidentified.

    Oh and everything is working now he forgot to come back and post that :)

    For Jaerehan-.
    There is not any problem about to open a thread explaining my problem. You don´t to have read all the threads published in this forum, if you don´t want. Any way, I think I did the correct telling all of you what happend to me, specially after to send him two emails and getting the final answer that you can read in this thread.

    For Mr. Tornado-.
    I did not notify you cause during weekend I don´t go to the offce, so I couldnt know it. When you told me; "it could take a while" I don´t know how long you will take to fix it. And I know the proxy stopped to work two days ago and not today because the logo is giving "server not found" error, (but the urls do exist), since the past saturday.

    IF you are ofensed, sorry for that. But when I pay for a service I don´t want to hear excuses, cause I don´t give any excuses to pay for that.

    You will have to understand that things can happen from time 2 time and I'm always prompt in fixing things. You would wanted me to tell you that I will fix it in 30 minutes when I had no idea because the problem wasn't on my end ? I couldn't estimate either because again it wasn't on my end.

    Anyway everything was fixed in 2 hours from your first email so I think that's pretty good.

    OP, you could be like me and have your VPS account terminated on "accident" and lose all your proxies and software. I told them just to restore the backups and they can't even do that. Says there's something wrong with them. Now I get to rebuild the proxy server myself. All they can say is sorry. I guess while the method is fresh in my head I'll add another VPS and more proxies so if they do it twice I'll say just send the refund and adios.

    The only thing you can count on is that problems will happen. How you deal with them reflects more on you than the person you're complaining about.

    I read and comment anything i want, but this part was what i didnt like.
    One thing that you have problem with one proxy (i used to have too sometimes, as i said), and ask in his thread/email him about the issue with a bit better wording, and waiting for the solution, and one other thing when you open a thread like that.

    I think not being able to contact him right away is your problem not his. We pay for the service too not only you. I don't understand how are you doing business with clients.. IMO

    I have hundreds of proxies with Alex, and have referred a bunch of people to his service. With anything, there may be a problem here and there, but I have found his service to be superb and a great value for the $.

    So if i sign up for the 10 proxy pack do i keep the same 10 IP's each month to month?

    I would prefer to sign up, and get 10 fresh proxies every month.

    Also would my 10 IP's have been recycled from another SB user who had them before me?

    I've been using 10 proxies for a month now from them... I've seen them down once for 15 mins max. No complaints here.

    I also have many proxies from alex and they all seem to be working fine. And he's always been polite and helpful whenever I've emailed him.

    Sorry just saw you message. You can get 10 new proxies every month, and the recycle thing work like this. The proxies are put on hold for 1 month and after that they are recycled. Just in case they where blocked in some places in 1 month probably the block will not be there anymore.

    Yep I can vouch for Alex... I use em and I am shortly going to add even more...

    Never had a problem that email wouldnt fix quickly.
