The people, your "friends" here on this forum you love to interact with, had you two hang out in public you would be the weirdest couple of "friends".

Think about a 50 year old short fat guy hanging out with a tall thin college student at a cafe. Zero things in common beyond how to promote on Facebook.

Hilarious sight.

The two of you might be "best forum buds" on here though.

You have an idea whether you like it or not who you interact with on here, who is behind that avatar and you do not give it a second thought in your mind. Cognitive bias adjusts that persona in your mind so they would fit perfectly into your real life too had your two hang out, an assumption completely divorced from reality.

Ever thought about that?

Yes, a lot. Age and physical differences are the least problem here. I'm thinking once we would know each other better we wouldn't talk at all xD. That's the magic of the internet, connecting people. But that's also why I prefer sales dms instead of hearing people's voices and seeing their faces, it's just good to have some distance.

On the other hand I have rl friend from here so... Yeah, YMMV, I guess.
 
Friendships are built on shared interests and good vibes, not just proximity!
Surely a first meeting might feel a bit weird, but there’s always a first time for everything.

You've got a point, but... So what? 50 years old are different, college students are different too. I'm sure one couple of BHW besties are a 50 year old thin guy and a massive college student.

If people have similar or same goals, that's what matters. Helping each other. I'm sure you didn't want to say anything bad but, I hope the 2 would find topics to talk about IRL as well, & they probably share some interests as well.
 
Let me tell you an amazing true story...

A BHW member hired me as a freelancer here on the forum in 2016 and gave me a chance to learn some important things from them, and by taking action and helping them very minimally I was given a gift from them for over $700 usd. This was more than any friend in real life ever gave me period. Dont matter who they are in real life, that is my Family forever now! I have photo proofs.

No, I don't have it double but I would love it to be like that. Sounds interesting, have a double one :) .

Really the meaning is like a phrase in which it is spoken and refers to how difficult it is to live in the country.

We have a word that is used daily here much more to say Hello surely. I’m not posting the sentence because im not sure if i will get a warning for it but if you have a friend from cuba, I'm sure you'll have heard the word “Pinga”

Why does it have to be weird? I think it's pretty normal. As long as there are common interests and something to talk about.
