I won't mention names as I don't want this taking the wrong way (I mean nothing nasty by this).

I just saw a post in a thread about daily earnings where a user states making $20k per DAY. That's $600,000 per month. That 1 month income is the yearly income of a high end investment banker.

Now my point is - why are all you big earners here? I mean I love this place as much as everyone. Its very enlightening, interesting and full of good people.

But...

If you're making THOUSANDS of dollars per day. What on earth are you doing sat in front of your PC on this forum?

Shouldn't you be:
* Taking trips to the International Space station?
* Entertaining high class prostitutes?
* Sunning yourself on a yacht in the Indian Ocean?
* Driving your Lamborghini Reventon?

I mean come on!! You're rich! WHY?! :eek:

Did you ever stop to think that maybe they want to give back to the forum that helped them get to such a high level of income?

The act of making money becomes very addictive. It's hard to leave the computer behind sometimes because there's always that nagging feeling that "something else can be done."

You have to remember that these guys didn't get to their point by taking lots of time off. They worked their asses off to do it. That's not very easy to just change after working your ass off for so long.

Striking a balance is incredibly difficult - but very important - to accomplish after you reach a certain point.

This is spot on.

Making money doesn't magically change your mood.

I always thought that when I hit my first $100 day I'd suddenly change into a different person. Wrong. Then when I hit my first $1000 day, I'm still the same person. It's not like I turn into some rich jerk who buys vacations to the bahamas every month.

It's not the act of making money that's addictive, but the money maker itself is the addictive one.

Example: I was so into building my first blogs that I worked 10 hours a day nonstop. Did I make any money from it? No. But I enjoyed working those 10 hours a day because it was fun.

When I start making big bank using various methods, the methods themselves were fuckshit boring and dull, but I made big bank... The $$ only motivated me for so long until I got tired of it.

I'll only start buying lamborghinis and vacations to the international space station once I start making big consistent money doing something I LOVE, not making big money doing something boring and dull (unfortunately that's what i'm doing now)

Maybe they just truly enjoy this place and the industry that they are in. Very understandable. Like gbmack said, this stuff IS fun, and I agree with him.
