Your tips for targeting fans yourself?

lets say Im in a rock band from USA.

I would go and add friends from a big us rockband (to a fake profile), then make that fake profile admin of my fan page so I can then suggest them.

Is this how you guys do it?

Also do you know any software to speed the Adding/Suggesting process up?
