Verge is a mess right now from a marketing standpoint.
Perfect trifecta storm fucked everything for possibly a really long time.
- XVGwhale on twitter messed things up pretty bad simply because so many were/are under the belief he is part of the Verge team, which of course, he is not.
- His meetings with McAfee, and the entire blowup between them and calling out of McAfee lies and bullshit didn't help.
- Add a heavily coordinated and widely distributed FUD campaign on Christmas that nearly everyone bit on, and being from the ex-marketing guy from Verge.
Perfect trifecta storm fucked everything for possibly a really long time.
