Your thoughts on this POWERFUL book?

Hey BHW,

I wanted to hear your opinions on this book and if you have read/listened to it.

My opinion is that it is a really informative and powerful book and it does help with guiding you through life. The way it is written through stories really makes you visualize and understand the underlying concepts.

Ah, a classic, i had a paper copy of this. I must pick up another copy, as I lost my last one.
 
Absolutely love Roberts stuff. Started following him on Insta just a few months ago and started going through his content :)
 
In my late-teens/early-twenties I was introduced and fascinated by it, now though I have forgot about most of it.

A small number of the laws have been helpful to me in life, I can specially remember the fact that "over shadowing" your superiors might end up really bad for you.

I definitely recommend it but I remember skipping many parts as it has not been captivating.
 
Every book is useful. Today, it is even more useful that we have audiobooks. In any case, whoever is interested will read (will listen).
This book is certainly useful and good.
 
Good book, needs to be re-read over and over, atleast for me, I tend to forget some of the points if I don't review them.
 
I love the book. Teaches you some very important life lessons.

There are some rules that can be a bit vapid and do not cater to many situations in life. But overall I agree with your opinion :)

Great info in there. Hope it has been helping along the way. Also re-reading it to refresh on the info is a good thing to do.

Definitely agree on this one. A lot of information for our brains to soak up in one reading.

This book is banned in most prisons and jails in the United States. That should tell you it’s worth reading. Also check out “the prince” by niccolo Machiavelli, and “the art of war” by sun tzu. Don’t forget “The art of seduction” by the same author.

I'd recommend "Art Of War For Small Businesses" its an adaptation of Sun Tzu's book for entrepreneurs :)

We all learn best the hard way, but having a book that explains it can make you get back on your feet faster.

Unpopular opinion: this is a shitty book as most of those laws cannot be applied in today's society (unless you want to come off as a douche/major manipulator/dirtbag)

Sure you can't apply them directly, but the underlying human nature still applies. So you have to go in depth and not take everything from the book for granted. I believe it should be interpolated as more of a philosophy rather than a set of rules/laws.
