We're already witnessing the revolution. It's used extensively in social media to censor, filter and recommend content. We're able to track individuals via facial recognition, operate drones and other aircraft automatically, detect cancer and other diseases via pattern detection... We have self-driving cars. We have self-automated grocery stores without human staff, and some large corporations incorporate A.I robotic technology in their warehouses to perform physical tasks.
Boston Dynamics has robots that can run, jump over objects and do backflips. Neuralink has the ability to interpret brain waves via A.I, thereby interpreting a person's intended movement. And in other fields, for example, we're able to replicate skin, giving artificial sensations to the device connected to it, or cut and paste a person's DNA with CRISPR, both of which may have relevance.
The list goes on and on. It's pretty neat, though.
