Your thoughts on .ai

I have a new service with worldwide reach in the AI field that needs a domain name.
I want to buy a .ai domain name for it.
The AI TLD is actually a ccTLD for the Caribbean island of Anguilla.

Has google said anything about .ai being treated as generic like .tv and .io have become despite being ccTLDs themselves?
