Your thoughts about SEO PowerSuite

Hello folks,

We have been asked for SEO PowerSuite.

The reason of opening this thread is to ask my lovely BHW friends what are their thoughts about this one compared to ahref (which we are using).

So, who is using or have used SEO PowerSuite recently (2019-2020) and can compare it to ahref for us?

I haved used PowerSuite a fair bit a year or so ago and I actually liked it

But I do generally use Ahrefs way more, I never used Powersuite much for BL analysis I used Ahrefs for that, but I made use of the onpage stuff a lot more, I think PowerSuites half decent imo. I will probably use it again in the future but for me its more specific things.


Its fairly nice to use, a little bit bulky but most desktop software is, Im guessing the people are just use to the PowerSuite reports who are asking for it.
While I would use the rank tracker link assistant and the auditor and onpage thing I wouldnt really use the spyglass as much thats where I would stick to ahrefs mostly.

Put it like this while I started off with using PowerSuite, these days Id use ahrefs way more, back then Ahrefs database was way bigger im guessing thats still the case but who knows maybe il have another look at it and check a site. If I find some free time il try get u a report on the same site from both to compare but im crazy busy atm so no promises.

I have used it and can tell you It is very powerful piece of software.

i think if you compare it with ahref, then ahref is the winner. i jut use seo power suite rank tracker. other software such as spy glass, website editor, i think you will get more better result with ahref

These tools are great for a lot of reasons. Website Auditor is definitely better than Ahrefs Site Audit. If you are not sure how well it fits the processes that you have in place then just use the tool and test it. New users get a week of full access to all features for free. That's how I learned what it can do for me.

Yeah, the question here is .. what is the main differences between both (except that the one is WEB based)

Anyone else?

Their site auditor and rank tracker is good.

Don't you need to pay monthly fee to update it?
I found it a bit clunky but use to like the white label reporting but this was years ago.
