Skype has had a problem ever since they added that live: shit before your Skype ID.

How ever, My skype working good. No problem. Some time it takes update but no problem.

Try turning off your anti-virus.
I had the same problem few months back. It was like that for ~2 weeks.
It would log in occasionally but then it would all of sudden go in to "cannot connect".
There are multiple other solutions including reinstalling Skype, changing files, updating Skype...
But Antivirus seems to be most common problem.

the skype has support forum....type your problem on google and the first pages are normally with the skype problems...

The last update of skype caused me same problem like 1 week back. It's due to updating skype, only thing possible now is you must wait for another update to fix it.

Working fine for me too.

Bear in mind that Skype is now owned by Microsoft, so it is much more likely to randomly crash these days.

BTW everyone enable two step authentication if possible because there's a skype vulnerability which let's an attacker access your account.

I think the problem in skype nowadays is it shows online when you are offline. Probably because it was opened sometime in your android phone. I hate this problem..

i deleted anti virus and re install old version of skype and restart my PC ,,it's works good now
