Your routine and it's time consumption

How long does it generally take everybody to go through their daily web routine? I am fairly new to this all so it definitely takes me a while. I've been doing this every day for a few weeks now and to research a few keywords, write a relevant article, check it, promote it, build backlinks, and search through forums and blogs for useful info... it takes me around 8 hours. What's your routine and how fast can you do it? I'm very curious as to how I can be more productive and better utilize my time.

I don't like following a strict routine as it really burns me out. If I had to guess though an average day probably takes 4-5 hours depending on what I need to get done. I know I could be more efficient, but taking my time allows me to relax and keep working instead of working to fill an imaginary time quota.

OP, since you're new to this it's obviously going to take you awhile to get used to the whole thing. IM is time consuming especially when you know what you're doing and have a motivator. For the past 6 months I go to bed after midnight and wake up before 8am everyday. It wasn't like this last year but I had to put in more time this year because I have 'a target'.
I am a domainer and also build micro niche websites. Everyday I spend about 10 - 12 hours on domain name research and checking my websites to be sure they are doing fine. I'm always on the forums too reading and learning from people who share similar interests.
I had severe headaches every now and then when I first started out but now I don't even feel stressed out anymore like before. It has become a part of me and I'm happy about that since my productivity is at it's maximum

I'm extremely happy with what I do, even though I'm a little slow at it. I was just curious as to what everybody did for their runthrough. I literally have a list a go through every day. But it keeps me organized.
