I don't know about "active followers/day", but I've been looking at various random 10-in-series followers across my accounts and guestimating 3-4 legits per 10. The rest seem to be bots and IMers who are more interested in getting follow-backs. To further complicate things, "legits" could include good bot profiles and/or early-stage bots, but I don't have a quick way to tell.

yes i have noticed a high % of bot account followers

Not too sure about how many I get per day but I know I get a steady increase per day so I know that what I am doing to help that is working. I tend to just stick to what I know is working and continue to see the followers increase even if it's at a steady pace it's better than nothing.

followers number is not relevant as far as you understand a scalability. If you get 10k followers they might bring you at least 1k / month if they are active and you ping them at the right time. I mean the time when
they are wake up and chck their feeds... Pinterest is a complex way to make money, but worthy.
And answering your starting question - I have got 100 followers on each of 100 accounts and currently under 4k/month.
