I posted a thread that links to a video on youtube giving details on our presidential nominees and it got removed. The moderator who removed it (tyy something) said it was removed because it involved politics. I just read through the terms of service and it doesn't mention politics. It lets people have the freedom to post about religion and if this is about argument our something think about how many fights have happened over religion. If that is allowed why is politics not.

I posted the thread on another blackhat forum and they told me it was cool, i just needed to code the links.

I don't think it does anything bad. If there are a lot of arguments it could help raise awareness for other people. It expresses freedom, which without, this site might not even be here or censored. The government has passed several bills to censor the internet and have control over it. Without what is expressed through my thread the bills would have been passed a long time ago.

So my question to all the readers here is: Do you think it is wrong to post something on politics that had no threats or other things mentioned in the terms of service? Something that raises awareness? and if it is in the terms of service do you think it should still be allowed? They could even make a politics section.

It doesnt matter what the general population thinks. A mod's decision is final. Respect that and stop crying about it.

It does matter what the general population thinks. Businesses are not made without using that. The owner of this site probably had to make based on that to get traffic. I'm not crying i'm speaking my mind. You sound just like the people in the gov. who told police "If they say, i want my lawyer, tell them to shut up". People that have some type of power with your kind of mind don't care what people think you have to tell us things like stop crying and we need to respect you, but you obviously don't respect us or me.

We do have respect for everyone. But rules are rules. We dont make the rules, we just enforce them.

And i was just asking for opinion. I wanted to know if they think discussion on politics should be allowed. Your first reply sounded rude, your second sounded more respectful.

The actions of the moderators are not arbitrary. They are based on guidelines from the owner and the administrators. In that sense, they are final. Mods are neither dictators nor kids who need to size their e-dick, we just make sure the forum is run as it 's supposed to.

:) If I had $1 for every time i seen a "why was my post deleted" thread then I would not need to bother with IM. It shows a lack of respect to the people who work hard to keep this forum clean, if a mod decides to remove your post then you should just accept it rather than start a debate about whether or not their actions were right or wrong.

Again it is not about that anymore. Regardless of the rules, it was a question asking if people think threads on politics should be allowed or maybe a section made just for that. If enough people showed interest in that i think the owner would really consider it.

I respect you for keeping the forum clean, but sometimes because of your job your going to do something that isn't right in the mind of what is righteous.

Politics has been been around for longer than this forum has. Im sure if there was a place for it on here then it would have been created long before now. If you want to talk politics why not go to a political forum?

If blackhatworld allowed politics do you think we would become as bad as the CNN comment sections?

Here are a couple quotes i want to share:

How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!
    ~Samuel Adams

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

People have strong opinions regarding both Religion and Politics.

Past experience has shown us that threads involving Religion
and Politics often lead to "flame wars". We don't need or want
flame wars on BHW. This is a forum for professional Internet
Marketers and was never created with the intention of making
it a platform for political or religious discussion. You can find
numerous forums outside of BHW on which you can discuss
those topics to your heart's desire.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation . . .

I like this forum and thought maybe it would add more interest to current members and future members.

I agree with WizGizmo. Let's keep religion/politics and business separate. This forum serves as a platform for discussion among IM'ers regarding internet marketing and not for arguments about religion/politics.

Your comment is better than the other moderator. Makes sense and was actually the kind of comment i was expecting from a moderator before i even posted this thread, but instead got insulted.

Are the rules for no political+religious discussion whatsoever or no discussion of views about it. Like is a topic on "Create your own online church for profit" allowed?

No . . . it would not be allowed either. Best to avoid those two
topics altogether, since they incite strong, combative reactions
from those who adhere to a particular, opposing belief.
