The title says it all... This is not just a hello thread, more kind of a "hi again, how you doing" thread! But let's cut the cr*p talk.

Hi, I'm Ruben, was in the Portuguese Army but recently left it and moved to Luxembourg to start a new life! I'm blablablablabla... Let's just move to the story!

Looong story short! At this exact moment I could be one of the few lucky guys that succeeded in IM, I could be the guy giving you all tips about this and that, could be earning "a few" big bucks, and still, here I am, with no knowledge, money, with nothing at all!

I'm the type of person that loves knowledge, loves to know the how to's of everything that comes to my mind, but gets bored of things faster than you can imagine, actually, faster than you can read this entire post... Well, I'm just messing around, but you get the point! And there's a good part to it, and a bad! That little aspect of me makes me know a little bit of everything, every topic that I think of that makes me curious, I search it, study it, try to learn as much as I can about it and... bang... a new topic that I find funny comes up and I just leave the old one behind and start investigating the new one! At this moment you might all be asking: "And so, who cares and what the heck does this have to do with your story?" Let's get there then.

So... The topic of IM was actually one of those little topics that crossed my mind at the age of 16, at this moment I am 24... Doing the maths that was about 8 years ago! You know, that time when autoblogging was the deal, that time when you had 10000 persons (well you still do, but back then, that was the DEAL) selling the how I make money online/get uber rich super fast online ebooks all just saying the same thing (remember perfectly the early days of Ri*hJ**k, one of my favourites), among many other things that I went to look again and are just so god damn overrated and overpassed! Well that was when IM hit me, and I went on forums and everywhere on the internet looking for methods to make some bucks and follow the dream of the "get rich online". I actually joined a couple forums back then (a thing that I barely do as I am the type of "just read" person), found a few methods and guides and well, it worked, and didn't at the same time.

My first attempt was Adsense, I picked some keywords that payed, created a couple of free websites with free hosting and free domains and tried to rank them up, would promote them in twitter, facebook, reddit and few other sites, I would also use a blog autopost program, and it drove some traffic in... After 3 weeks of exhausting attempts my Adsense account would show me that I earned 18$!

At the same time I was also working on autoblogs, I created a few blogger blogs and did the same thing, picked up some keyword phrases that I could try to rank in and created autoblogs to post twice a day with spinned plr articles updating to every single traffic source you could think of (have no idea how I had it automated back then), I do remember that I had 2 fb accounts, one with 2000 something friends and another with 1000 few, just random persons, and had 3 twitter accounts, all with around 2000 followers (that golden time where you could just follow and unfollow all day you know).

Things were going good, even with blogger blogs and not paid domains I managed to get 1st page ( on a now highly competition phrase ) about vegans and veganism. Was promoting 2 cb products and also had adsense there... managed to earn 70$ on clickbank and 13$ more dollars in adsense. Then I was implementing a new method to raise the income a little more, the google email scrapping method... I would just do a "hotml/blablabla/. c* m" then insert the keyword related phrase I wanted to harvest emails, and voila!, did get a few big lists out of it. I would then email the list promoting cb products, banked me another 60$...

After all that work I wanted to get that money in my hand so I could reinvest and start doing real business, and start earning big... I then talked to my parents about it (yeh I was 16, had no cc), and that's where the dream ended. They just told me I'm crazy, had no idea of what I was doing and that I should just let all of this go.

Thats when... A new topic came in.

Here I am today, with no knowledge, money, with nothing at all!

For all of those that took the time and patience to read all this a big thank you! Hope this serves as lesson for everyone to see you should never stop doing things no matter how many obstacles come your way, just keep figthing! I learned that (several times) the hard way! Pleasure to (re)see you all, and hope that with the help of you I can restart, and this time, just do it right!

P.S.: If there's anything wrong with the name I specified above about the IM ebook tell me and I'll gladly remove it. Also if there's any other thing that shouldn't be on this post tell me and I'll edit it.
