So here is the thing.

If you say that you are an "affiliate marketer" or "SEO expert" or "I flip websites" or something similar for a living, most of the people do not know what your job is. It is also hard to impress people/potential girlfriend with that.

So, the question is ... what do you usually say you do?

"The amount of money I am gonna be making would hurt your parents feelings" :D Nuff said.

On a serious note, I just say SEO and then explain what it is, most people get it.

You can check what job titles people use on LinkedIn and pick the one you like. The truth is, the same 'job' will have a dozen titles, I wouldn't sweat on it.

"Internet Marketer" ; they usually look confused or think you're making scraps but little do they know... :/

Digital marketer is what I call myself. :D

Internet Marketer. And if you want to impress people, just tell them you're partnering with big companies like Google, FB, AMZ. :lmao:

R6 - redrum...

Why would you want to impress someone?

Why does it matter what anyone thinks of your "job title".

I just say "I run my own business". That's it. It's no one's business specifically what I do. Anyone that digs further you say either digital services or digital products. That's it.

Social Media Manage / eCommerce VA / Shopify VA / Amazon VA. That's what they call it.

Internet farmer ‍

I plant & grow different type of website

The biggest problem I have is when my wife is asked what do I do ... she just says I'm doing websites ... and people thing that I'm just a guy who makes websites for car part dealers

Since i have a real life job i can easily avoid this question but if i were to chose, my choice would Internet Marketer
