Your IP is blacklisted?

'Access denied. Your IP address [xxxxxx.x.xxxxx] is blacklisted. If you feel this is in error please contact your hosting providers abuse department.'

Anyone know what I should do, in this instance? Is this an issue with my internet provider or web hosting? Only a few sites came up with this error.

Do I ask my internet provider to change my IP? Or how can I do this?
 
Depends, who is your isp?

For most companies like Comcast/Charter/Suddenlink, etc you can just unplug your modem, then change the mac address of your router. When you turn your modem back on, you should have a new ip address.

I am on a Static IP, I guess I need to contact them:(
 
Hmm.. This could be them thinking you're one of those hackers forcing logins and attempting to protect themselves. At least you know they're doing something about it.
 
If a few sites already came with this error, then it is most likely that your ip is blacklisted in one of those anti-spam databases.
Check here http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check
and see if your ip is blacklisted in any of them.
 
Oh thanks, mine is Blacklisted for dnsbl.tornevall.org and opm.tornevall.org. Is there anything that I can do to unlist my IP? Cheers

Ya you basically have to send them an email to get you removed off the list. They will give you instructions on how to do it, beware though that those fuckers are real blackmailers. It is pretty hard to get your IP removed off those lists.
 
Yeah, better call first your ISP before you take action in calling other third parties..
 
Only your ISP (abuse desk) will be able to help and get your ip removed.
 
Contact support via email, they may have blocked country ip ranges so the ip change that will happen in ip pool of your ISp will not help.
 
I just went to http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check and checked my IP, then when to site where blacklisted, then click 'removal' and filled in captcha to get unlisted.

This may take up to 24 hours, so I will wait and see if that helps!
