Your Frustration With Outsourcing

You know, all of these outsourcing guys are pretty chill guys. They are well mannered, not that great in english, but they seem to be able to reasonable know wtf they are doing.

My recent frustration was with this one guy I hired through skype after meeting him on BHW. Sorta silly of me right there to hire the guys that spam the forums with " I R SEO expert". Ironically the guy had a service I needed and at a fair price. It was for writing content + submitting them to directories.

Long story short, the content sucked, and my submission is going to be done according to them in a week, yet they told me it was going to be in 3-4days. Just frustrating that you can't find quality help or a good personal virtual assistant.

What horror stories do you guys have?

Outsourcing can be a nightmare especially with freelancers. Most freelancers are more concerned with getting the job than actually doing the job they say they will do. I hired a full time staff 8 hours a day. It took here 3-4 times longer than it should to complete tasks. I later found out that she was also working for 3 other ppl I know during the time she was supposed to be working for me. Ive had more success with hiring staff from a staffing company, especially for full time staff.
