My first powerhouse was a zx Spectrum 48k, it didnt kave a disk drive, you had to load cassette tapes in it, it took ages to load a game or app and it always crashed... best computer i ever owned.
I spent hours playing Jet set willy, spyhunter and dizzy.

Later i had an amiga 500, i punched it when i died after a long mission without a save on Elite and smoke poured out of it, and you know what... the fucker still worked!
If i punched my laptop that would be the end of it.

I started with a Commodore 64. It makes me laugh when I remember how they used to use elephants in the advertising campaigns due to it having a massive 64K of RAM!

My first computer like many my age was a commodore 64.. My first "PC" was a tandy sensation.. had a 486 sx25 processor , 4MB RAM, and a 100 meg hard drive .. ohh yea 1x CD-rom .. cost about $3k back in 94' .. yikes

Good times.. things were simpler back then

I had a Commodore 64 as well...think i still have a few games on the 5 1/4 floppies laying around

hahah, slightly insulting to imply that elephants are only capable of remembering half of an overly compressed jpeg :p

my first PC was a windows 95 machine that ran at 133mhz had 32mb of RAM and a 2 GB hard disk. Hardcore

Feels good :D

Mine was 14" monitor, a celeron, 40GB ram.. used it for like 7 years.. those days.. ah!

My first one was a borrowed Vic 20 ( which i made a program about a tank from the manual,The computer cursor constantly changed colors, which made the letters change color. Anyone Out there with Vics 20 Do you know what that might be?) , then my first owned one is an IBM aptiva , pentium 166, 16 ram, Windows 95.

But before all that my first console system was my parent's magnabox i think it was, with a pong cartriche integrated , then atari 2600 for christmast from my grandmother.

the magnavox got given to someone when i got the atari. The atari still works.

Then i Got nintendo, my sister got a genesis, i got a Snes, then my sister got a playstation whith the faboulous Castlevania: Symphony of the night.

After the Aptiva , We got a series of laptops, Ibm Laptop, Laptop with Win Me, Then we got Compac presario whith Win 98 and DVD player for the office, Then a Compac presario Whith Win Me For the other office, Which Is the one I use , Then A LAptop Whith WinXP.

I "upgraded" to WinXp by using an other HD that was changed and got left on the pc after repair, but then the HD got damaged (i think it was already damaged) i then "Downgraded" to WinMe. Im considering buying a new HD to install XP, but Until i figure out the maximun HD capacity for my Compac presario, i havent be able to record all the data from that HP to my External HD.

Today Im learning asembly language for the nintendo to play a bit far more than just playing the games and, of course, Marketing.

Oh, and i remember this ad in computer magazines from the 80's
With the message: "You got Electronic mail".

128 mb ram
15 inch monitor

Mac Plus. I was constantly nagging my dad to let me on it to play some retarded spaceship game, I don't even remember the name.

Pentium III Celeron, that's all I can remember. I was not very tech-savvy at that time.

Here's mine guys...

No need for disk-cleanup or hard-drive defragmentation when she slowed down. All you had to do was grease up the slider bars and she was like brand new!
You could do math for days with this little bad boy!

Apple II+, Dual 5.25 disk drives, monochrome screen, joystick as big as a brick, loud ass dot matrix... Did anyone else play Ultima? I loved looking inside that thing - nerd porn? (like what the F is all that shit in there)... seems like I had some 200 baud modem and actually 'typed' to a friend over the phone line... that was a bad ass moment... early 80's.
