Your filter doesn't work

I was trying to quote post #72 in post #84 from 637702-yet-another-journey-40-million-5-years-2.html and wanted to say the filter sucks. It won't let me quote...

I don't see why not, there are no links, no foul language, so what is the reason?

It would be nice if this filter could be improved (e.g. single out the words at fault) so that us new members can participate without having to figure out what to change to make the post. Otherwise half the time it's just a waste of time and makes you not want to post at all.
