I’ve been using these tools for a while, but I feel like I’m still missing a bunch of helpful features tucked away in the menus. It’s easy to fall into a routine and only check the same reports every day. Lately I’ve been trying to slow down and explore more, and it has actually helped me catch things I used to overlook.
One thing I’ve been paying more attention to is the small data points that show slow changes over time. Not the big graphs everyone checks, but those tiny numbers that hint at long-term trends. They don’t look important at first, but they help me understand if a page is slipping before it becomes a real issue. I’m starting to feel that these small signals are more useful than any big report.
Another feature I’ve grown to like is the section that reveals old pages I forgot about. Some of those pages were dragging everything else down without me knowing. Cleaning them up gave me a nice lift, even though I didn’t plan for it. It made me wonder how many people miss simple wins because they never look at the quieter areas of these tools.
I’m also curious how others use the data that shows what users might be searching for next. I don’t mean the common keyword lists, but those deeper suggestions that point to questions nobody is writing about yet. I’ve found a few ideas there that turned into steady traffic, even with little effort.
