Just curious what everyone at BHW drinks for beers and curious if any of you enjoy the tastes of good beers.

Me, I love all dank beers and cant stand to drink a piss light beer (bud light, coors light, etc, etc).

That type of beer is like drinking water to me and cant enjoy it at all, but will resort to it if im broke
and just need to get my drunk on.

But 99% of the time I drink blue moon, hefeweizens, heineken, newcastle,
sierra nevada pale ale, octoberfest beers, coronas w/ lime, i cant think of em all,
prolly cuz im pretty buzzed but,

Any beer that has lots of flavor and more that 3% alcohol im down to drink.
I know most of the teenagers only drink piss beers but thats how it goes
if you only want to get drunk then of course your gunna get a 30 pack of natty
for beer pong for 15 bux, So just curious whats your favorite beer....?

I second that with light beers, waste of time.
I enjoy Steinlargers (an NZ beer) lager, 5% alcohol, green bottle, beautiful.
Although I am a student so quite often will have to settle for Export Gold (another NZ beer) At supermarkets you will pay only 1 NZD a beer.

Unibroue makes my all time favorites beer, in fact i just got done with one. It's called Maudite and is delicious. Another variety of theirs is labeled Terrible and despite the name, is fantastic.

I also personally enjoy most brews by New Belgium, Dogfish Head, and the Avery brewing companies.

Abbey style ales are tops in my book, I just can't seem to get enough of them.

'...I grew up in England but moved to the Canary Islands, Spain, which is a favourite hoilday destination for Germans and so many bars are dedicated to cater for their tastes in food and drink.

While Spanish San Miguel and Tenerife's Dorada are fabulously strong lagers, (5.5%) here I found the wonderful German beers such as weissen bier (wheat beer) and the dunkel biers (dark beers)...nothing like Guinness.

I also like the Belgian Kriek beers, especially cherry flavour, which is supposed to be mainly for the ladies. (I can see people cringing at the thought of cherry-flavoured beer. They do raspberry as well and it's really rather good).

Tsingtao Beer in China is also not bad and very pure.

My all time favourite beer is Gold Label from Whitbread, which is a barley wine type beer at 12% alcohol or Carlsburg Special Brew at 9% alcohol. (This was originally brewed by the Danes for Winston Churchill). Amazingly, neither of these are available in Thailand but are available in Muslim Kuala Lumpur.

Now in Thailand my favourite is Beer Chang or Beer Singha.

I hate American light beers and wonder why anyone bothers with them. They are as disgusting in the beer market as over-oaked Californian Chardonnay wine is to wine connosieurs.

Not Yankee-bashing. I love America...but not your beers. Neither would I want to live there full-time.

Travel is wonderful!

Carlsberg Special Brew and a typical customer.

Coopers...5% alc..brewed naturally with no additives..

I see nothing wrong with light beers. I like the taste of bud light every so often. I've been really liking Michelob Ultra lately.

I drink all kinds though. I live in Denver so we have tons of local breweries with awesome beers. Golden has a small brewery with some great Oatmeal and Red beers.

One of my favorites is the Railyard Ale from the Wynkoop Brewery in downtown Denver.

Any decent German Beer (nice and pure, hangover free), Becks is my preference. Also like a good Stella Actatwat or even a San Miguel. Oh, and nothing American. (Not American bashing, but the beer is just chemicals in a bottle. You always wake feeling like you spent all night nutting walls.)

Anything from Red Hook Brewery. I am lucky that the east coast brewery is about 2 miles from my house. They have great beers all year round like ESB and Long Hammer IPA. Some great seasonal brews would be Late Harvest (fall) Winterhook (winter)

Great place for food too and just to hang out!

Newcastle Brown Ale is my daily beer choice. I also like Yuengling Black & Tan and a few of the Sam Adams.

Since you like a full flavored beer like me, I high recommend you trying Fat Tire and also Bad Penny (Might be hard to find depending where you live).

Gotta be "Budvar" Czech and well worth it on a Friday night after a long week!

Cerpa (Brazilian beer), Tuborg Sort Guld (Danish wounder), Carlsberg Hof (Also Danish), Falcon Export (Swedish), Koff (Finnish)... These are all my favorites. ;)
