Hi there,

I have a fitness eBook selling for $1.99 (on offer from $4.99) on Selz that I wrote myself with my own photographs, and I'm interested in buying 50,000 clicks from Neobux. Particularly, I want the 'Standard Exposure' 5,000+45,000, which means that my ad will be displayed a minimum of 30s at a time. This costs $77.

If 2% of these buy my eBook, I'll make 1,000 sales, making $1,990, resulting in $1,913 profit each time I buy this package.

My question: is 2% an accurate assumption?

More like 0% conversion

ppl clicking on the ads on such sites dont care about what they are clicking on, they just care about those $0.01 that they are making

Is it really that bad? I could do with some targeted paid traffic.

NOT worth at all, because youa re selling a fitness books for mostly who are teenagers who doesnt care about their fatass.
Its better if you sell them "How i made $378 Overnight" but i really dont think people will buy anything there...

This thread gave me cancer.
Go with Facebook, you can target what peoples likes, their age, love status, etc.
So you can get a properly audience, with 77$ you should be able to get good 500 clicks. Tough I'd advice you to content lock your ebook with AdWorkMedia (CPA network) this way you'll get 1.40$ per download (USA), they're not 2$, but you'll have a higer CR (10-20%), or even more, depending on your landing page and no risk of chargeback.
Myself, I did 1500$ today with facebook ads, a really really hot trend and with a specific high paying country. I'am not saying in anyway you'll do such amount like me, but with the time and knowledge you will;
tough if you do a pretty good site + good target + good pic + good slogan you'll get a 20% CR which is about 150x1.40= about 200$, which is 130$ profit. You can get that in a day. If you're interested to enter such awesome world of facebook ads and CPA then just PM me this way you'll sign up under my ref and we can get deeper.

That kind of traffic is the closest to bot traffic. If you're lucky, you'll have a conversion out of a million clicks.

Let me try......

In 2007 or so, I have funded the account with $100 and advertised a real cheap $3 product, which was something that is needed by all age groups, but didn't sell a piece of it. Not, I have the same thing a bit updated for $35 listed on my 3 year old authority site and selling like crazy.

So, I guess you understand the situation in 2007, where you could have sold something very easily and now when people thing internet is real scam.

I don't think so , I tried marketing a very cheap product 1 year ago, I didn't sell one, I seriously don't recommend NeoBux.

I once tried it myself and its just a waste of money. Except if you can find a way to get and sell free stuff, theres no way to earn as an advertiser

It looks like the general consensus is that Neobux is not worth it.

I'm now seriously considering ads.pof.com as a way of targeting sexually frustrated men who want to improve their bodies.

Neobux has never converted for me; regardless of the offer I used. the only thing I would use them for would be email list building...

This was another idea I thought about. I reckon the conversion rates for that would be closer to 1-2%.

Dude, it's not worth the trouble. They will never convert, regardless how many steps there are before pitching your sales letter.
