"Your channel is not approved for the YouTube Partner Program"...the best way to start a new day :D

Hello guys,

my monetization review was rejected due to "reused" content. I'm making twitch highlights (won't specific which game). I edit those clips a bit and put a lot of time to keyword research and thumnail game. It's working really good and I got a lot of positive feedback even from streamers appeared in my videos. I was rejected for "reused" content but they didn't specified exact problem or video. There are literally 10000 YT channels making same type of content and it's monetized. Do you really think it's not monetizable?

I've uploaded 16 videos (full compilation, 10-15 clips per video) and 2 shorts. These short videos are just 1 cljip from twitch (amazing play) and it's working pretty good I got 60k views in few days cause of shorts feature. When I was thinking about that it might be problem cause they checked most view video (short) and decided that its just reuploaded clip from twitch without added value. Do you think it might be the problem?

Thank you so much for your help and tips :)

You can get demonetized in the future even if you get approved somehow. Add some kind of commentary to add an element to it.

So this type of content isn't monetizable? What about MCN?

You can use the content but there should be some kind of uniqueness to it. For example reaction videos. If you're just picking up the clips and stitching them together then that's just reused content.

Well so other channels doing same content are just lucky and might be unmonetized in the future. I see.

Why not just drive traffic to your discord server and promote affiliate products.

Are you adding anything of value to the clips like unique commentary or insights, or are you simply creating compilations of other people's content?

ive been working on a compilation channel myself and im using shorts to push traffic to my full length 10+ minute videos ,all videos im redoing with my voice over so i wont have a problem with monetization

You were rejected because other youtubers must have uploaded some clips of your video multiple times before you did. Add uniqueness with your own original commentary

Thank you all guys for your advices but I think this is unreal. I tried adding commentary as you said but viewers dont like it and all of these "disturbing" moments cause viewers to skip video. That type of content is working because it's clean, fast and on point. All added value like text or speech is not working so I'm probably fked up here. I'm slowly giving on youtube cause their rules are so shitty nowadays. Thanks anyway guys :)

May be try with your own voice over and show your face, so it will have more chance to get approved

Well as I wrote above viewers would take it as a "disturbing" element and they would skip the video after few minutes.

I was just wondering about editing those clips like webcam zooms, sound and visual effects. Just make it fun and a bit meme. It should pass the monetization review.

I'm planning to make this type of edit for the next 30 days and after that delete all old videos (before 1st attempt) and reapply with "new" content. Will this work? I mean will they review just a new videos?

Thanks

Yes, it will work. Mine was rejected first time, then i deleted those reusede videos and reapplied with fresh videos. It got approved after 7 days, i think they will manually check if you reapply. So make sure your youtbe will looks like a brand. Create facebook, instgram pages and link to that for genuineity

Thank you for your tips! I will do my best to make it looks like a brand and no just copy-paste channels! :)

You have to make your videos unique, even if you reuse other people's content. Add video effects, subtitles, voice-overs; maybe yourself in the corner, reacting to the video. YouTube allows repurpose of content but it has to be unique. Hope this helps :)

other youtubers might have uploaded the same clips before you, try to upload before anyone could those clips..

You will see this more and more, YouTube will show ads on your videos but not gonna share with you

Lol, their reused monetization thing is so stupid. I had 100% original my own self-made animation videos. They still demonetized me for over a year until I got approved back in. What I did was, well first I removed almost all my videos (Had over 70m views combined). Then that didnt work so I played a few games and just spoke throughout them :P Got monetized back and started making the same content I had done since 2015(demonetized in 2019) again, havent had an issue now in over a year.
What I learned is that they take a birds view of your content. That means if the majority of your content is reused(This wasnt the case for me, but I still think this is 100% what they did) Or if you've "gone in another direction with your channel". They will approve it. So Sprinkle in some of your own unique content and make that the Majority. Then you can also have highlights. Or sprinkle in your own highlights here and there.
Its just a game of trial and error. Took me over a year to sort my issue out and the support wasn't helpful at all. More like the opposite. I had one girl who told me she couldn't even understand why I got demonetized, but they still denied my reclaim :P They changed the reason about 4 times in a year, it was something totally different than reused to begin with. But it was kids content and non-violent very child-friendly stuff. (I do voice impressions so I like doing kids cartoon voices and animate stuff).

This thing also happened to me, was denied monetization, they said is reused content but my videos are originals, but I got article from articles online and plr and then reword it very well , yet I did not pass, so I know how to make to make it to pass their monetization process.

Does it mean we cant get content from others and write our own to be unique?
