Your advice for a new website like Yellow Pages

I created a guide website for activities and places in the United States, such as Yellow Pages.
What are your tips for improving the site’s appearance on Google?

Yellow page sites are only going to work now if you have pages indexed for every single specific business or some specific businesses. It will rank because it's a keyword that nobody else wants to rank on other than the business itself. If you can achieve good indexing which will require a lot of manual content or quality automated content then only you can get small traffic on each of the pages which will result in a big traffic for the overall site.
