I love guest posts... but what I love even more is...
the surprise and excitement of discovering a link that you never intended to build!
But yeah... guest posts! Unfortunately, it's been tough finding websites to post for my new niche.

a blog post about my keyword from a client that is in the same area of interest. Client's website is well known and high DA.
also, with all the google changes, it is very difficult to know what is effective anymore..... them fucktards are using different algorithm for different niches and different regions.

Outreach with a view of asking to do product reviews. I actually prefer this over anything else at the moment.
Normally it's free as the author / blog owner is getting something for free, they provide the photos and I get a link or two on a niche relevant site.
Not only that but 90% of the time they will share the products directly to social media as well as the original post they created so I get niche relevant traffic as well as a few additional sales. I keep sending the blogger new products on a regular basis and they keep mentioning me, eventually they will start to recommend the websites to the followers who ask 'where can I get X?'

If I had to choose, then probably PBNs built on high demand auction domains, just cause they are super versatile and within my control.
