Not for me. If I'm reading copy of something I'm considering purchasing, my eye auto scans the page for the price. If I think it's worth it, I'll buy it. If not...next! I like to cut to the chase!

Even if I'm in a store, unless I really want an item, and I notice there's no price, I will NOT go out of my way to ask a salesman how much it is.

Put yourself in the buyer's shoe..... Unless you have ZERO competition, this will not work and the next thing you know, the customer will get driven away to your competition to complete his purchase..

Neh, just an hour ago I was looking at the SenukeX website for its price,... I couldn't find the price of the software/license, I GOT REALLY upset (I wasn't going to buy it, I was just wondering)... Put the price always visible!

It's pretty annoying if the price isn't there. Unless your buyers have endless supplies of cash it is critical information.

I don't think everyone reads the sales copy anyway nor do I think that reading the sales copy will increase sales. I haven't read a sales page top to bottom in ages but I've bought a number of online products. Offsite reputation and reviews are what usually sell me on a product.

( if I wanna buy something I think is not important the price , important are the features what I`m looking for ) few days ago I was at few clicks away to get myself a license of wprobot , I go with other product because I found there something what interested me in particular ... lol ...

Peoples usually aren't buying stuffs '' just to have '' , they are looking at features / options and so on , of course when you have two different products ( clones ) with same or like same features you choose cheaper one ... like a month or so ago I wanted to have a tool for my twitter accounts you know follow / unfollow stuffs like this , I tested TA from forum from there ... guess what lol I bough other more expensive tool lol you know why ? JUST because TA have no damn option to minimize ! ... even if other tool don't have some of the options from TA ...

anyway ... I saw sellers there on bhw , what's looking at the feedback of the users , and most of them trying to accomplish the feature requests ( I guess | think ... lol ) BUT ... most of the IM products what I bough let's say in last 2-3 years , are just unsatisfactory ( for my standards lol ) or for my needs ... I`m a bad customer ? or you guys (* developers/coders/sale mans ) drop on the marketplace not only on this forums lol everywhere in internet not so well research wanted features for your products ...


Usually developers have to think first of all at their customers , WHAT the heck they need at the end of the day ...
Like a buyer I had over the time good experiences , and of course bad ones ... few months ago I paid $1K for one custom ubot to be done , not even today I didn't got what I needed for , I didn't even go to argue anymore with the contractor ... why ? simply he's losing my time and my money lol ... I just go to other automation engine , paid like $950 and I got my custom made tools professionally made , and even after months I`m keep chat with the coder even we plan another developments lol .... from this last example .. who was the winner ? what do you think , I`ll go ever back to the indian guy to ask him for a job ? NO WAY DAMN IT he can keep that $1k , I don't give a damn about them anyway I can't recover from gaypal I know this ... but ... this guy and hes team never will go from me any other job to be done ...

again I wrote too much ? well ... it's one of my sensitive area this relationships with the sellers / providers ... I hope OP is don't mind about this lol ... and if YOU have any damn product what you wanna drop into marketplace PLEASE try and listen at your customers / prospects what they really need and wish to have , try and take their money and give them a smile on their face ...

I personally hate when there isn't the price. Like going to the jewelry store ...annoying as hell no prices shown until you ask. >.<

In my opinion, not having a price is a definite drawback.
