Came across one of my old campaigns and I lol'd. I took this campaign pretty far by creating a fake criminal complaint which was viewable on a survey/petition site which then redirected to the survey offer. The campaign actually converted ok but was no better than just doing more traditional ones, so I abandoned it.

I've said this numerous times, you have to think outside-the-box and experiment with completely crazy stuff sometimes. Although this campaign didn't convert that great, you never know what goldmine may be around the corner...just need to keep digging.

I guess your demographic was complete idiots as this is obviously a sham......idiots won't convert for you very well in my experience as they have a hard time reading ....lol just messin bro that is a good one and gave me some ideas.....I just wonder if this type activity will harm me in the afterlife?

Most people who fill-out surveys or free submit offers aren't the brightest bunch, so my demo was pretty spot on, lol. Obviously FB doesn't have any authority to criminally charge anyone, but I figured that offered more shock value than just a civil suit. The fake criminal complaint was made to turn more people into believers of this new policy.
 
Lol I had friend always calling me up saying they were getting charged from Facebook. I always had to explain how it was not a real message.
 
Yeah you are right I think Elliot is way ahead of alot of us....lol. We need to realize the huge amount of really ignorant humans out there using the internet and it only gets bigger by the minute...I already created a completely crazy campaign to test this out on! Rock on!

Considering that you can't even spell to "a lot" I would say yes, he is way ahead of you. We don't need to realize anything, stop infecting the web with this useless crap and create something people value instead.
