I thought I would share a little something I came across, hopefully something that will be inspiring when the game isn't going your way. I've been reading a lot of threads on how Gxxgle's updates or an affiliate network's bans have ruined some of your income sources, sandboxed your sites or other annoying things that are part of this business. It sucks.

But I was reading a book and I came across this quote:

Perhaps there is only one cardinal sin: impatience. Because of impatience we were driven out of Paradise, because of impatience we cannot return. --W.H. Auden.

I've just started doing SEO. I've had some early successes and some early failures, all of both I owe so much to y'all, because both are learning experiences that will help bring me towards my goals.

But building quality sites can take a long time. Making "F--- You" money can take a long time. Reading 20 page threads and trying out different things and experimenting can take a long time. And after the big G puts out their next version of Panda, Zebra or whatever other spirit animal they choose, it can take a long time to get back on the ladder and it climb back up if you're knocked off.

Patience people! Patience will bring you to Paradise. Patience will keep you experimenting when nothing is working. Patience will keep your chin up when you were making 500 dollars one day and five the next. Patience will allow you to actually learn to use the latest tools instead of blowing a chunk of change and wondering why your magic bullet isn't firing.

I'm not in this for the summer or the year. I'm not in it for the quick buck. I'm in this for the next 80 years. And that's why I'll come out on top.

Will you?

I love this, i personally decided to go with this to the end of my life.
Not just SEO, I'm going for the whole Internet marketing. I see my future, my empire, my treasure here. And one day when I get old and my time comes up, instead of leaving the offline business to my sons i'll leave them the whole Internet Marketing experience along with the money making websites. I will teach them how to start learning the hard way, because we have all been trough it, and that's why we appreciate this so much. I'll teach them about their limitless opportunities and the limitless possibilities here. And I'll be glad to introduce them to the Black Hat World even before they turn 7.

Ive always been in business for the long haul. It is the only way. There is absolutely nothing that will get you rich quick (with the exception of the Paris Hiltons of the world that are already born with a gold spoon in their mouths) but even then they cant build an empire from scratch overnight. i have learned such a tremendous amount of knowledge in the last couple months from BHW alone that are worth its weight in gold. i am just now starting to put what i have learned into practice and i am happy to announce i made my first sale on one of my new websites! I love BHW and SEO and Internet marketing. Because its something that i truly love doing, its way easy to be in this in the long haul.

Sounds like you got what it takes to succeed in this business. There are so many people that come and go for the primary reason that they didn't make the quick buck, or failed once and twice and decided to give up.

Keep with it and you will succeed in this business. Yes there's a learning curve. Yes it requires testing and experience, but in the long run its well worth it and the rewards are extremely beneficial.
