That guy is an idiot. Internet acronyms like "lol" have been around long before facebook.
Yeah you need to get off facebook, but his reasoning is that it's too mainstream.
The real reason you need to get off facebook, (or at least limit the amount of info you have available), is because it's a huge money oriented data mining scheme.

This guys intention wasn't not to give facts or give an interview about the strategy of facebook and it's dangers. But he wanted to create a video which has potential to go viral in order to reach a lot of people and set them thinking.
