You have to be kidding me...most of my niche sites deindexed, $300/day lost

My site got also slapped by google and I don't know why ! http://remedies-for-pimples.com is my site so can someone tell me why my site got slapped from the first page in google and what I have to modify to get it back ?

By slapped I assume you lost your rankings, as you're still indexed in G.

After a quick look, your back link quantity and quality are terrible, that's probably the reason, although I haven't checked everything.

It's fine having a few poor backlinks, but the vast majority are, and that's where the problem resides.

I'm sure someone else has the time to give you a more in-depth reply.

yes i lost my rankings I was on page 1 in google for 2 months and a few days ago my site disappeared I'm on page 6 or 7 right now and what do you mean by "your back link quantity and quality are terrible" ? what kind of backlinks should i build ?

I have amr and senukex and I plan to buy scrapebox. Is that enough for backlinks ?

I don't understand how so many of you can not see why the sites have been slapped.

Google doesn't want sites built just for adsense. They want brand sites built for practical purposes.

The Panda update is slapping sites that are low quality, have duplicate content and built for adsense/cp. So all autoblogs and sites with spun content which provide no real help to the reader are all going to get slapped.

I can't believe you guys didn't see it coming, but what is more astounding is that people are scratching their heads and blaming the amount of tags in a post???

Come on guys be SMART, Google thinks these sites suck and they want to get rid of them.

My site is not an autoblog and i dont't have any spun content and I have about 70 pages of content so I don't get it !

Figure out how they found out all your sites.

Eliminate the footprint.

Rebuild.

What was your backlink portfolio like? A lot of blog comments + profile links?

I just can't figure out how can someone like you with these sh*tty sites make 200-300 bucks a day.

You provide nothing, just affiliate links...

That's your problem.

Just repeat the process and build more links/ various ones

also..sorry to hear that, I wouldn't want to get this on my sites

Thats why i don't create micro niche sites. For long term success u should have created authority sites. For example you should have gone something for coupons instead of stride ride coupons. And then create a page for strideride coupon. This way u won't have shortage of article writing ideas also cause u have big niche and u can easily diversify the link building to many pages.....google never dares to deindex this kinda sites..always think bigger.

You honestly don't get it?

Your website is a content farm made for converting users into clicks. Now, arguably, all websites do this, but your website is "thin", you place blocks adsense above the content and overall it looks like webspam.

Google doesn't want webspam in their index and have slapped it.

"As ?pure webspam? has decreased over time, attention has shifted instead to ?content farms,? which are sites with shallow or low-quality content. In 2010, we launched two major algorithmic changes focused on low-quality sites."

Maybe writing about some of the products being offered in these coupons..adding a sidebar...jan,feb,march,april etc...just making it less spammy.

You shouldn't be surprised. One thing to learn is never to depend on Adsense for money. When , not if , G slaps your MFA sites, you will be back at square one. It sucks but it's true. If you're making 300 a day, at least reinvest that in good templates and good content. People say G doesn't care about design but when it is classic xfactor style they do. Affiliate sites are fine, that's not what is the problem, it's the user experience. It sucks I know but that's what they're leaning towards.

I think you have to build some more links from web 2.0 sites and article sites. Currently I can only see some forum profiles and bookmarks linking to your sites.

Maybe you need some more link diversity! I don't think your website itself is the problem.

I will build more links from web 2.0 sites and article sites I just start a blast with amr

Yes I agree with Gorong. Just my 2 cents below (most of them already discussed here)

  • If your adsense earnings cross some limit (say $50), a manual review of all your adsense sites are triggered.
  • Only authority sites can survive(if not immediate, as soon as possible). Quality content with good user experience is what matters for google. Micro niche sites are going to get hammer harder in the coming days.
  • If you have say 50 sites, with same template, same one/two article per site & crappy links, it makes google person job easier. he looks at one or two sites and all 'look alike' sites in your arsenal gets de-indexed even without being reviewed.
  • Advice(whether you take it or not): Start freshly with 'authority ideas', with good content, good user experience & give more chance for user to interact with you (your website).
Best of luck !

Go get drunk with your friends, forget, laugh, fu*k it. The next day, do some relaxing. After that, get your butt back to work. If you did that once, you can do it again. It's just some more work and spent time, but at least now you know what to be aware of. Probably..

I invested in a site earning $600/month from the OP and it got whacked at the same time as his, it must have been some type of manual review on all of his previous sites or something.

Time to add a lot more unique content, change things up and get this baby re-indexed.

This is why it is important to have a very diverse portfolio of passive income. :)

All who is info. Was it on private?

I guess you have to offer quality or if your doing those small sites to split it between x amount of adsense accounts.

Oh well, you will come back x times stronger or you give up here and now.

As I already mentioned, there are a few more posts on the site. How many posts can I really write about Stride Rite coupons? What I keep trying to stress is that I WAS GIVING THE USERS EXACTLY WHAT THEY SEARCHED FOR. They didn't come to my site to read some dumbass posts about Stride Rite or whatever else I could write about. They came there to find coupons so they can save some money and that's what I gave them.

As for the links, you're only going by what you see in YSE. I built hundreds of links to that site and my others from a variety of sources. I did articles, bookmarks, profiles, blog comments, rss feeds, web 2.0 sites, and all the usuals.

I know what I'm doing as far as SEO goes. I know that spammy blog comments alone won't keep a site at the top, and that's not all I used.

YSE only shows a very small fraction of the total links pointing to a site, so you can't really go by just that.

It doesn't matter if YOU think you gave users what they was looking for. In the eyes of Google your site is a spammy low level site. Stop defending your spammy low level site and learn from your misstake. I'm telling you, it's because you had ONE page of crappy content.

UBY21 pmed me and I thought it would be worth pasting my reply here...

......

Sorry for being so harsh in the thread.

The problem is, there really is no magic pill or special change you can make to the website which will fix the problem.

Was your website ranking highly for months before this happened?

If so, then it is highly likely you've been slapped(as we've said). The problem is that Google is purposely very slow at showing if the changes you mgiht make have actually worked. I've been told before by someone close to Google that 90 days is the length fo time before they will look at the site again. But as always that's not definite.

Even if by some miricle you fix the site, I have a feeling Google will never allow you to rank in the 1-5 ever again. Once a domain is tarnished it usually lasts for a very long time.

I'm sorry this has happened to you.

What I suggest is that you buy a new domain for a new niche and build a new website with improved quality.

Keep your old website and build links once or twice a month, but concentrate on a new project.

The key to this game is to diversify your projects. Make 3 of these websites, then maybe make a blog for another project. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.

Hopefully this will never happen again, but even if it does, you'll have other projects to fall back on.
