Just for motivation guys..
When you're starting, you will think your idea is unique but quickly realize there are already competitors doing something similar, or they could be doing the same thing that you want to do. Don't worry, this is entirely normal with any business and industry, but what makes you stand out will be what wins over the crowd.

Exactly, it doesnt matter if your idea is not unique. Actually it's even better to work on what many other people already doing, it means that it's profitable. What makes a person successful is only his mindset, if he truly and honestly believes in what he is doing, if a person never gives up, if a person have a dream and follows it, eventually sooner or later he will reach that dream, 100% guaranteed!

According to me, even if you stick to do some boring task again and again and keep trying on it. if you keep trying, no matter your idea is unique or not, you will get success. Everyone is equal at the start. If you make 1$ per hour that will become 160$ per month for full-time work. Just save 25% of it deposit it in the bank with a higher interest rate. I see in India some banks started providing 6% interest on money lying idly in saving bank account like Kotak bank.

You do not know how important to save money play an important factor in becoming successful in getting rich.

Agree with you. Savings is very important. I was not very fond of saving money few years ago when I was earning really well. The idea of keeping some money aside for the future seemed boring to me and made me feel very old school.

But I did something nice that time. I set up an automatic transfer of a very small amount per day from my current account to a savings account - I threw away the debit card associated with the savings so that I don't have a way to use the money anytime soon.

I completely forgot about this daily savings. Last year when I was facing a terrible cash crunch and no income, I was surprised to see a good chunk of money in this unused savings account that was gathering slowly over many years. It's this money that helped me survive during the difficult times ❤️

Ideas don't make money. An idea is worth nothing.

What makes money is successfully executing systems that facilitate a process. That is what business is. The customer needs a process done, which could be buying coffee beans. That process is moving coffee beans from 1 place in the world to their kitchen cupboard. They aren't buying coffee beans, they are buying that process.

Your job as the business owner is to put the *system* in place to make that process happen. That system will involve staff, pen and paper, spreadsheets, computer software. Your system is repeatable and allows the process to be successfully completed with a low margin of error. That is business. Not an idea.

Be better than the next guy at executing and you'll make money. You can just go out there and study any business you want and do it better. This could be in the form of a better product, a cheaper product, faster delivery, better support, some sort of bonus on top of the product, better marketing, taking the product to a new geographic location or taking the product to a new type of customer.

Exactly.
Just throw some money to savings and think like you are paying electricity bill extra. Even though in very small amount it will really help in tough situation.
And insurance is one important other factor. Get insurance of your and your loved one. I have heard by paying 493rs per month you can get term insurance of 1 crore. Not choose endowment but go for term insurance, it is well needed in case if something happens to the earning member, your family can live well for the rest of there life with insured money.

Agreed. This is especially true on the Internet. But on the other hand, the more people doing it, the higher the standards, more to compete with, etc.

I agree with what most of what you say, but saying that an idea is worth nothing that is a false statement. If Zuckerberg didn't have the idea to start a social network he obviously never would have founded Facebook. It starts with the idea, but the idea is useless if you don't keep taking action to make it a reality.

Very motivating thread and replies! Another very important thing is determination to finish what you start.

Agree, would never worry about an Idea being unique, more about if there's a market for it and in truth the main thing is taking action

The idea for facebook was absolutely nothing. His idea was to create a social network for his own campus. It's a crap idea, lol. It only got huge because of the scarcity principle, which would have been a great idea if he actually had that, but he didn't. It just developed that way.

You can have an idea for almost anything, but what will make the success is the execution, not the idea. Replace the idea with another idea, and you would also find success. Put the idea in the hands of someone else, and you'll find failure.

This is why I say, ideas are literally nothing. The original idea is just a spark. Google today is a billion miles from its original idea. So is every other company. An idea is just a "spark" for great execution. That spark can come from anywhere. What is meant to be will happen because of careful analysis, persistence and developing that idea through its natural stages. You could have idea A that leads to X, and idea B also leads to X.

Thank you so much. Can you share more info on that insurance?

Hey buddy, if you are an Indian search for Sandeep Maheshwari insurance. He explained in a seminar very well in basic easy hindi language. Even I did not know earlier much still not till now but he really give you a short info about it. Or you can search on YouTube, YouTube is goldmine keep watching your interest and browse some videos, you will really hit some gold info about insurance.
Even I don't know much but I just know that choose always term insurance over endowment insurance as term insurance is good when you compare it with rate of inflation rather then with endowment plans. In endowment plans suppose you have to pay 30k a month for 3 years that will be 10 lakh 80 thousand in 3 years you will pay this amount. After 3 years you will get something like 13-16 lakhs. It is not beneficial as the value of rs will increase more rather what you will get 13 or 16 lakhs. This is called rate of inflation. You need to get more then rate of inflation to consider it as good. Overall Sandeep Maheshwari suggests always go for term insurance. I am learning too and trying to do insurance of myself in next week. Just looking if we can do multiple insurances too of one. Trying to learn everything

I agree 100% with you buddy! Ideas only stay ideas, the action is what makes it happen and what makes a successful person!

You're right an idea doesn't have to mean much, but having a dream is everything. Inspiration is everything. Without it you have nothing in my opinion. You can't keep executing shit if your heart isn't in it, or if you don't have the inspiration that tells you what to do next.

Zuckerberg had a dream and he followed it. As long as keep your following your bliss then the rest will surely follow.

Yep.

You can niche down, use marketing angles, build a strong brand, create an irresistible offer, create a funnel that allows you to spend more to acquire a customer and still be profitable, innovate with a new business model / revenue model and target market.

Yeah, it's more about having a vision/dream and sticking to that.
