You Crypto Guys Are Missing the Boat!

Ya everyone missing the golden opertunities hidden behind great porjects and tech like Defi.
Most people want load of money quickly.
Want to be a MM from shit..
In IM they wish for the paypal monkey generator and in crypto they buy shitcoins while screaming 'to the moon'

I get the crypto gamble and do it myself. I'm not Crypto Johnny but there are a few dollars out there directly with Crypto coins.

But... many of you are missing out on the safer more steady opportunities in this niche which is investing in the underlying companies that are investing or fine with allowing Crypto as a payment option.

Those are the steady earners for you and do not have the whiplash back and forth that the actual coins do and have other aspects that give value and the crypto aspect is a part of a larger picture.

Sure, it is fine to gamble with the actual coin but for a long term strategy that will benefit you and give you some safety the stocks of the companies that are accepting crypto, and are in the news as to doing that, are a much safer play.

Pillows are meant to make it easier to sleep and this is a pillow play.

and just like that a new bhw star is born "Crypto Johnny"

So tell dear mod we better buy stock actions like coinbase and exodus or token like BnB and CRO, swissborg?

I'm not going to give names of stock to buy as that would be outside of what Damien wants the staff to do.

I will say this though - I've been buying individual stocks of companies that are crypto friendly for some time now and doing very well and I do not usually buy individual stocks but rather mutual funds to spread the risk.

I would bet there are some mutuals that are crypto centric if that is more in your comfort zone though as opposed to individual stocks.

No idea as to how you should do that, nor would I suggest one as that is selling or advertising outside the marketplace for a Mod, but I am sure there are 100 options.

I hope a side benefit of crypto pulling in so many laymen into investing (although I wouldn't consider buying tokens investing) is educating them on how to allocate their assets for the future.

Someone getting rekt in their 20s is less likely to get rekt in their 50s.

Excellent point.

Kind of related but I just want to add to that for UK people.

Remember you can have a £20k per year investment ISA. You can get exposure to crypto prices there by investing in Argo Blockchain or Erwood ETF and a few others. As it is an ISA you have no captial gains tax to worry about.

You have no idea what you are talking about, don't you?

I dare you to put all your money at Coinbase stocks.

I would never put all my money into any one particular play,

No but if you read the news you will see the companies that are trying to bring crypto mainstream by being active there and using or buying crypto.

Made just enough off crypto and BHW around the start to get a few things going + a savings to set them up proper, for once I'm not upset about missing a few waves...

Hopefully be able to mess around with a token or two in the next while though I love crypto

OK, put them all in several crypto related companies then. Do you really think any company that has tight relations with crypto won't be affected if the crypto fails? You sweet summer child :D

It's like saying that you should invest in oil companies stocks instead of oil, because the companies won't be affected if the oil price goes south.

That would not give a person a balanced portfolio and makes no financial sense to invest like that.

Not sure why anyone would suggest that.

I'm sure that there are ETF´s out there which represent companies investing/using/building crypto structure.

But I think it is really difficult to decide which companies should be in the ETF because there is no clear "crypto classification number" for how much a company is involved with crypto.

You don't get the point. It doesn't matter if you are investing in crypto or crypto related companies. If the crypto prices go south, the stocks of the crypto related companies will also go south.

Saying that it's better to buy crypto stocks, instead of just buying crypto is false statement.

Check what happened with the stocks of oil companies last year when no one was traveling and the gas prices went really low. Most people got rekt, no matter if they were trading oil or oil related stocks, but some particular individuals made a killing from it, by "hodling" oil, or buying the oil related stocks at their dip.

It isn't important what assets you trade if you know when to enter and exit.

My point is that there's no perfect asset (even gold isn't perfect, it's hard to move) and saying something is better then something else basing your statement on almost nothing is not cool. That way you might trick some people to buy crypto related stocks instead of some other assets they've chosen.
